Bathroom is renewed but not very clean. I think that they never cleaned the shower head since the renovation. The room was very noisy. Every car on the street, everyone walking by, you could hear. At the reception desk not everybody was friendly; the men were friendly, the ladies instead ...

This hotel is well placed on the Metro from the airport and close to the old city. The room and ensuite was clean and of a good size. Breakfast was excellent and the berry mix was superb. Staff were always very helpful and our in house evening meal gave us a lovely taste of Belgium cuisine. And we were given...

The reception staff were very helpful on arrival with maps and directions. The hotel is large and a bit of a maze to get to our room but once there we were delighted. The room was large with the biggest bed I have ever slept in! The separate bathroom and toilet was very welcome and all the facilities were spot...

Stayed here two nights over a holiday weekend. We parked the car at a shopping center maybe 200m away, due to road closures. This was cheaper than the parking at the hotel. Check-in was easy and the man who helped us (Rudy?) was very kind and friendly. Our room itself was nice, furnished in a slightly old-fashioned style. But all...

Big hotel, building has a lot of history but there is nothing to do in the hotel. Room and breakfast are really straight forward. Nothing special. No opportunity for parking in or close to the hotel. Had to walk 10 minutes to my car. No view out of the room I had (3209).

The room and the bathroom were not clean. The personal on the main desk was not nice. When I asked if deliver of the breakfast to the room is available, the person on the reception started to laugh. When I asked if we can have a toothbrush because we forgot it, the receptionist gave only one, because ,,it is free...

The hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated, just a short walk from the city centre and from Place Rogier. My room was spacious and light and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, with plenty of choice. I would certainly recommend this hotel to other visitors to Brussels.

Good hotel to stay in Brussels. The building located in the Centre of City is initialy the building of the former kinotheatre. Rooms are clean and modern. Good WI-FI. Pleasant personnel. Very good breakfast.

It takes too much time to register. Room has no view. Ten of us stayed for one night before leaving Brussels. Everyone liked the hotel and its superb location. We enjoyed exploring around the area. Close to shops, restaurants and special events held there. Walking to Grand Place takes some time. tea and coffee provided in the room.

Travelled to Brussels on a conference, all was happening in this hotel (dinner, overnight, conference, lunch). The hotel was once a cinema and everything is meant to be movie flavoured (photos of film stars, conference rooms with names of famous European filmmakers). However, in reality, the place is rather gloomy, ill lit, with labyrinth narrow hallways, with no daylight in...

Dear MarijaNBG, Thank you for letting us know your feelings about the Marivaux Hotel. We are sorry you did not like our hotel. We are although glad you enjoyed the upgrade to a superior 'Harmony' room. Indeed, this establishment used to be a cinema and theatre; which surely gives it a rather unusual structure. We have recently opened 41 brand-new...

“If you are young & in love (but not only then), you should choose an attic room at the uppermost floor. It's small but cosy room, with a tiny place to read and relax just by the window. The Max Adolphe avenue is not very noisy and the view from the 5th floor, where the room was situated, was a plus. All in all, a good experience.”
