The Lindner Hotel Antwerp shines for its stylish ambiance and is particularly celebrated for its cozy rooms and vibrant bar. While the hotel's atmosphere and cleanliness are often praised, with daily restocked amenities, some guests feel the rooms could benefit from an update. The value proposition receives mixed feedback, with a divide between guests who appreciate the reasonable pricing and those who find it pricey for the offered services.
The hotel's service is generally commended for its friendliness and efficiency; however, occasional lapses in service are reported. Its prime location near the central station makes it a convenient choice for exploring the city, despite being a bit distant from the city center.

Definitely the best of the 4 hotels on my Belgium trip! Excellent location - right by the station, from where you can conveniently travel both in the country and to the Netherlands. But quietly and around there are no marginalized individuals and crowds. The main attractions can be reached on foot, and public transport is available. The hotel is very beautiful and stylish, the environment is very friendly and peaceful. There's a beautiful park nearby, so if you're tired of the sights, you can just sit on the shop and breathe. The hotel is located opposite the Jewish Quarter next to the synagogue and it was so interesting to watch dressed Orthodox worshippers rushing to evening prayers. Came from Brussels around 12 o'clock and immediately managed to check in. I got a room on the 4th floor overlooking the next office building, but no one was working on the weekend. It was very quiet, no trains at all. And with the curtains drawn, the room is completely dark. The room was large, comfortable, warm and very cozy. This is the biggest bed I've ever seen in any hotel. The bed is snow white, 3 pillows per person, all quality, so the pickiest guest will be satisfied. There was a compliment on the bed - candy. There were slippers, but no robe. There was a teapot with tea bags, coffee, some cookies (free), water, everything was replenished daily. There is also a full-fledged minibar with alcoholic and soft drinks and glasses for all kinds of its contents. Five-star hotels have never seen glasses for wine, beer, soft drinks all at once. Roomy cabinet, suitcase stand inside the cabinet. There's a safe and even an umbrella. The bathroom is also well-equipped and has all the necessary supplies, which were replenished daily. Breakfast wasn't originally booked, but, going once, went all 3 days. Expensive, of course, 25 euros, but I had enough until dinner and I really enjoyed myself. Freshly squeezed orange juice, prosecco, smoked salmon, warm bread - that's what my perfect travel breakfast looks like. There were also many other cold and hot dishes - meat slices, cheeses, egg dishes, vegetables raw and fried, waffles, muesli, yogurt, nuts, dried fruit, jams, fruit, good coffee. Such breakfast and near the window with a cute view will create a good mood all day. Just one thing but - I was unlucky to come for the weekend and if on Friday there were very few people in the restaurant, on Saturday and Sunday there was a line and some dishes were not taken out very quickly. Accordingly, the price of accommodation on these days was higher than on weekdays. But the hotel is just great and I really, really recommend it.

This was our first time at this brand, and we had an excellent stay! We decided to cancel our hotel in the old-town center, and instead stay at the Lindner due to location to the train station and the great reviews. We were so happy with our choice! It was super easy getting off the train and exiting the station (make sure you exit at zone "5" near the signs for MediaPlein & Plopsa - its the rear of the station, and then you can exit just 50 steps from the hotel entrance!
The lobby/bar was beautiful and called us for a drink each evening when we returned. Friendly staff, comfy bed (pillows could use some additional fluff!), good size rooms and good bathrooms. Everything was modern. Our check-in with Lazar exceeded our expectations - he was great!
I also appreciated there were multiple tram stations walkable from the hotel. The nicest walk was to the Plantin station - but Opera and Diamant were also options.
We would absolutely stay here again next time in Antwerp - really lovely stay and so easy to get to center!

We stayed 4 nights at the Linder Hotel Antwerp, a JDV property by Hyatt,
We booked a 1 bedroom suite. Room # 1102 The suite was super spacious, complete with a separate seating area, a fully equipped modern kitchenette, a roomy bathroom, and a dedicated workspace. Plus, a double convertible sofa in the living room for the third and fourth guest - perfect for families!
We also used a Guest of Honor Award Certificate, which included complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread was impressive, with white rice and even alcohol! Iwona and Owen were amazing servers during breakfast. They both made sure we were taken cared of.
Hotel guests have access to the spa facility on the 11th floor, featuring a sauna and relaxation room.
The location is incredibly convenient, just a 4-minute walk from Central Station.
We easily took train rides to Ghent and Brussels without having to walk far from the hotel to the train station.
We were very pleased with the property because of the value we received, the spacious room, and the amazing breakfast.
Dorothy and Michelle were very helpful at the front desk. Michelle especially helped us with our bike rentals. We took the oppporunity to rent bikes for a few hours and it was very good experience.
5/5 Stars!

The hotel is next to the rear exit of the train station, you have everything within walking distance. The facilities and rooms are good, the breakfast is very good and delicious, the waffles are exquisite and the breakfast options are varied for all.
The staff is attentive and willing to help you at all times, but I had a bad experience with the cleaning of the room. I stayed for 3 days and one of them they DID NOT clean the room. The worst thing of all is that they entered. to the room, they changed the coffee cups and left everything else as it was (we had left some bags with garbage for them to take and they didn't even take that), this is very uncomfortable because you pay a hotel to have all services , otherwise I would go to an Airbnb. Although we filed a complaint and they went to remove the garbage. The cleaning staff had already left and there was no one to resolve the cleaning issue, so the hotel needs to better supervise its staff so that they do what they have to do.

we stayed the weekend - 2 nights - with a group in 3 rooms (overnight stay + breakfast). We have to book an extra night due to car trouble. That booking was apparently made without breakfast. As a result, we had to pay 49 euros for breakfast the next morning. If this had been immediately added to the room, this amount would have been 11 euros. At our request, the receptionist asked the manager twice to correct this. she declined the request. this felt like a huge downer to our stay there. I think this is particularly bad from a customer-friendliness point of view.

A wonderful stay and a fluent reservation with a few requests. Assisted by Marco from reservations made sure everything was handled punctually. A nice experience. The close parking of our car in the parking garage was also perfectly arranged.

My recent stay at the Lidner Hotel in Antwerp transformed into an unexpectedly enchanting experience, compelling me to extend my visit, much to the delight of my senses. Nestled just a stone's throw away from Antwerp Central Station, the hotel serves as a gateway to the vibrant heart of the city, offering seamless access to a plethora of markets, shops, and culinary delights, all within a leisurely 5-10 minute stroll. The proximity of a Lidl Supermarket right next door adds a layer of convenience to this already strategically located haven.
The warmth and professionalism of the staff are nothing short of exceptional, creating an atmosphere of welcoming hospitality from the moment of check-in, which was a swift and seamless process. The luxurious room assigned to me was a masterpiece of comfort and elegance. Boasting a plush and opulent design, the room featured a charming balcony that offered a splendid view of the bustling square, providing a delightful backdrop for relaxation.
The spaciousness of the rooms is remarkable, accentuated by large windows that invite natural light to dance across the tastefully decorated interiors. The updated bathrooms, complete with modern tubs, add a touch of contemporary luxury, ensuring a rejuvenating experience.
Above all, the service at Lidner Hotel is of an unparalleled standard. Each day of my stay was marked by attentive and personalized care, making me feel valued and pampered. This exceptional level of service has left an indelible impression, assuring that Lidner Hotel will be my preferred choice whenever I find myself in the charming city of Antwerp again.

This was an outstanding experience, great staff, great service and outstanding experience. Amazing breakfast. The location of the hotel is ideal for when you are driving, coming by train, is located next to the railway station, and there is NO noise from the translation. And in the middle downtown of Antwerp.

Hotel is located behind the train station and relatively easy to get to. Drawback of the hotel's location was the distance to town and restaurants. Nothing in the immediate vicinity and only reachable in 10 - 20 minutes’ walk. Public spaces have a very modern, designy feel to it. Rooms were big, with large comfortable beds and well equipped (fridge, kettle, etc.). Sound proofing was excellent; there was nothing to hear from in- or outside the hotel. Style of the rooms reminded me of older American business hotels and was less slick than the public spaces. Gym on the top floor boasted some great views and was okay equipped. Breakfast was relatively standard, however ran out too quickly on busy weekend days. Service was friendly throughout. Online check-out was a waste of time, as you'd to check out at the desk again.

We had a very lovely room on the 4th floor overlooking Central Station. While there were trains, we were not bothered the noise at all- could be due to the higher level room compared to some other reviewers. I also enjoyed being able to stand on the balcony and watch the night sky towards the historic downtown Antwerp. Our room was spacious and there was a nice welcome note on the mirror when we arrived.
The location was great for us. We enjoyed seeing the mix of neighborhoods and walking past all the diamond stores on the way to the historic area. We walked it every day for a week without a problem and we're happy to get "our steps in". It's only about 1.3 miles to the central square (Grote Market). BTW, we did the free tour that starts at the Grote Market. Fabulous. Stop by the information office for times or to schedule.
One of the best parts of our stay was the buffet every morning. I had to learn to pace myself, as there was champagne, orange juice, any type of coffee drink imaginable, a griddle to make your own Belgium waffles, 6 types of bread/pastries, fruit, yogurt, a yummy chia acai custard, and of course hard and soft boiled eggs, scrambled, ham, bacon, and more.
Check-in can be a bit busy as it's adjacent to the bar, but we arrived an hour before the usual check-in and it went fast. Everyone was efficient, friendly and spoke English very well. I did need to point out an area behind the curtains that was missed, but the housekeeping manager ensured it would be corrected for the next guest. It was easy to miss since the curtains are black out and therefore heavy.
All in all, a lovely stay and we'd stay again.
