This hotel is in an excellent location next to Den Haag Centraal. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room itself was excellent, with a choice of pillows on a comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was excellent however food was served unitl 21:00, which may be worth considering if arriving later. The bar also closed relatively early, I think it was 23:00. Breakfast again was good with a good choice. I would recommend and will be using the Babylon again.
Very well located hotel in The Hague with lovely helpful staff and good facilities. Right next to the central station and a few minutes walk from shops a nod restaurants. Comfortable bed and great breakfast included in the price. Quiet too.
The room was clean, spacious and has a great view of the park. The bathroom was nice as well. The receptionists were really nice and helped with everything they could. Also, is really close to the Den Haag Centraal (the main train station) and is easy to go around the city.
I was nearby for work and we were looking for a good stay and OMG this was such a clean hotel. Nice people and really nearby the center and the daytime. The restUrant was also very clean and tasty food. Would say come here for business you have all options in here
We enjoyed a weekend in The Hague, beautiful city. Lovely hotel!! Top location. Staffis very friendly and enthousiastic. Great Breakfast, lovely room. will be back soon. thank you for taking care of me.
We had an excellent stay from 3-5/7. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon after a long drive it was a joy to check in with a young man (forgotten his name, maybe Josh) I do remember it was his 3rd day. He was great, really nice welcome and very funny. He helped us navigate free parking until 9am Monday morning. We then booked online via the hotel website for discounted parking in the garage basically below the hotel. Our room 713 (i think) was perfectly quiet, clean and very comfortable. Other's have mentioned the free mini bar. It is replaced every 2nd day of your stay. The contents are good although, sorry to say the beer isn't the best. There is a nice tea/coffee selection in the room as there is in the reception area. Just help yourself. Breakfast was more than enough to set you up for the day with the possibility to have an omelette made freshly should you desire. Gluten free options available and brought to you directly. Unfortunately one of our room keys just wouldn't work however it never seemed to be a problem to change the key. Thank you Luna. Our one negative was the bathroom sink. Whoever did the bathroom design obviously never washed their face or brushed their teeth over the sink. Every time one lent forward you'd bump your head on the low shelf directly above the sink. I work in the hotel industry but I have to say it's a first for me. I really do hope the bathrooms will be updated next year as advised they will be from management. This really was a small aspect and it wouldn't stop me staying again. In fact I already know I will be back so looking forward to seeing you all again. Thank you to all who helped us have a lovely stay but especially front desk.…
Really impressed with the service and quality of this hotel. Amazing staff, clean and super comfy room. Lovely views and just such a treat for a solo traveler over all. Nice break away. Walking distance from station and centrum and lively area.
Comfy bed with good supportive pillows. Great sleep every night. Good water pressure in showers and hot water is there the moment the shower is turned on. Complimentary mini bar and Nespresso in room. Truly a great experience.
I stayed here on a work trip, working at a conference in the nearby New Babylon and my stay in The Babylon was an absolute pleasure. Incredibly helpful staff that made my stay a breeze, answering each of my small questions without fail. A superb continental breakfast with a wide variety of cold and warm dishes, including a large selection of fresh bread, pastries and local pastry. More than comfortable room with blackout curtains that was tidied up every day so I could come back to an orderly room after a day's work. The hotel has a partnership with the superb nextdoor gym and the staff signed me day passes throughout my stay without an issue (noting that I trained 1-2 times a day for the wee I was there). After my work conference I extended my stay in Den Haag and I'm glad I did, because the city is a true delight to discover. Ending the day with a whiskey at the bar with the ever happy staff made my stay all the more worthwhile. The little pluses: I made a small comment on the website review page about how basic toiletries in the room would be a plus, not 30mins later staff was at my room to offer me just that! When asked about borrowing an umbrella, I was lent one without an issue. I forgot my charger in my room, which they found and sent my way by post without an issue! I wish I could remember all the staff by name, but at least I want to give a shout out to Senne for accommodating me through those days!…
I stayed in Babylon for 4 nights on a business trip to Rijswijk. The hotel is close to the motorway, public transport (train and tram) and the city centre. The rooms are perfect size, the decoration is bright and clean, as are the corridors. Professional service, a bar/restaurant and usage of the gym right next door. What more do yo want. A very good place to stay.
