I stayed several days on the clipper and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is the first boat-hostel I've stayed on which is unique because your staying on one of the canals! Its not a party hostel although it is in the Netherlands, but a lot of hostels there aren't anyway. The couple that owns the place are very friendly, great...

If you want to sleep somewhere in Rotterdam, it's better to look for another place : "that" place called hotel (what do Dutch authorities think of it ? it should be closed) is awful, nosy, bad-smelling. The furniture are sticking, the cabins are so small and so dirty..., the bath-rooms are out of order (no shower or cold water), the...

This place is such a low standard it should not be advertised. No hygiene - the toilet did not flush, do not even think of sheets or towel, after a while you do not want to touch anything, just run. They preempt your disbelief / indignation with their own insult: you are greeted by the smell that will land you...

Our experience staying in hostelboat the Clipper was not satisfactory for several reasons: - The room was really cold and the heater was broken or it was switched off. It was impossible to connect... - The blanket of the bed was not sufficient and we had to take another blanket of another room that we found empty and opened (thankfully)....

I don't recomend it at all, there...

This is the worst hostel I have ever been to in my entire life. The directions to the boat were very poor and it took me over an hour to find it. When I eventually got there, I was greeted by the owners dog which kept barking and growling at me and wouldn't let me on the boat. I thought...
