This large modern hotel is in the middle of nowhere! We had friends who were very generous in picking us up, but otherwise we would have needed a car. However, the hotel was warm and comfortable (the weather was very wintery, so this was important). The public areas are attractive and well set out, although without a lot of character....

The rooms are large and spacious. The facilities like wifi, breakfast, parking etc. are good. The staff is very nice and cooperative. It is not very accessible and for food going out becomes an issue. Rotterdam Cetral is less than 10 min. On weekend you have a zoo next door. Worth trying it.

I spent a week in this hotel for a business trip. Facilities are good (better than average in the country), hotel is modern, with WIFI in the rooms. Service at the restaurant was very slow although the staff was very nice. Food was average but a bit expensive. Not within walking distance from city center, so better look for another...

Friendly staff, though overall the hotel is a bit soulless, rooms were clean, though both our beds needed replacing quite soon, breakfast wasn't great either unfortunately. Very handy for the zoo and am going to squeeze in a visit before I leave today.

We stayed at this hotel many years ago before Van de Valk took it over. It was a fabulous hotel then Ever since we have seen a decline in the standards and the fixtures and fittings of the rooms. The entrance and reception have not changed, The very quiet lifts are the same. The corridors outside the rooms look as...

Stayed two nights in a double room (actually two super single mattresses placed together). Room has ample sockets, and mine has an unblocked view of a huge surface car park. Apparently the property is next to a sports facility, which explains the parking capacity. Breakfast is relatively good on variety and quality compared to other European hotels. Bathroom is pre-fab...

Hotel is very clean and staff was very friendly. The breakfast was average. Room was spacious but, strangely enough, it seems that there are no rooms facing the adjacent lake: half of it face onto the parking lot and the other half onto hotel lobby. Quite difficult to reach with public transport. No bars and/or restaurants around.

We stayed in this hotel because we visited The North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. We had a spacious junior suite, which was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After arrival we had lunch on the nice terrace, the quality of the food was good. The breakfast next day was sufficient and average. This hotel can be recommended...

The hotel by itself is quite good. Modern architecture, everything is convenient. The furniture is need to be changed slightly. The breakfast was too expensive for my opinion - 17,5 euro for sausages, omelets, some ham and cheese? Too less i think. And the most important - about location. It's situated close to rhe zoo. So, you could easily spend...
