Interesting house which is re designed as a bed and breakfast. The house has several room choices. We opted for the top floor attic apartment. This is 1 bedroom with a small terrace/balcony with 2 chairs and a 1 persons room with an open toilet (only partial walls) and shower cubicle. Views over the roofs of nice old houses. Breakfast...

Leon really knows how to look after his guests. At Residence 102 everything has been thought about to ensure that guests are comfortable. Local information in the rooms, perfect setting for breakfast. We stayed on the top floor and were more than comfortable. The village of Lieden is about 35mins from Amsterdam and provides a perfect mix of Dutch culture...

Stayed here for 2 nights when we visited Leiden. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choices available. The B&B was very clean and is in a quiet location with easy access to the city.

A very pleasant and comfy stay at Residence 102. Stayed with my family on the top floor with a nice view over the rooftops. Welcoming hosts and good breakfast. The location is central within walking distance to the market, restaurants, sightseeing, shops and the university.

Leon & Ingrid were the perfect hosts - welcoming and very knowledgable, and went out of their way to make our celebratory weekend visit to Leiden extra special. We had the suite with the roof terrace which was great to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine. The room was spotless and well equipped. In terms of location,...

We had a wonderful working vacation at Residence 102. Our family felt very welcome by our hosts, Ingrid and Leon. We were very comfortable. My daughter and I toured around Leiden for three days while my wife worked at a conference. We passed by many of the other hotels and B&B's in Leiden while exploring the historic city center. We had a wonderful stay at Residence 102 on Nieuwe Rijn in Leiden. The location is fantastic -- right on the canal, beautiful, quiet and peaceful and down the street from many restaurants (several with outdoor seating) and shops. It is an easy walk to the Central Train Station. The hostess was gracious and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. We stayed...

We had the most wonderful time! The upper suite was perfect for our needs. The hosts were more than kind. They even put us in their own room due to an error in the reservation system. The breakfasts were delicious! We'd love to return!

My sister , who lives in Leiden, booked Residence 102 for me and my sons for 2 nights in July 2012. We arrived as agreed at 8.30 pm. Since we just experienced a 11 1/2 hour flight, we were looking forward to a shower an a comfortable bed. Upon arrival in Leiden, we, unfortunately, had to call twice to the...

Dear guest, Thank you for writing a review about your stay. Unfortunately you are not completely satisfied and we regret that. A relative of yours booked a room, the Studio. After we heard you would come with 3 children we upgraded you from the Studio to the the Apartment, (with our additional cost) which has more space, more rooms and...

We stayed at Residence 102 in The Loft and loved it...too bad we could only stay one night. The place is very comfortable, light, well furnished and clean. We had the roof to ourselves. The breakfast was good and substantial. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very good location to discover Leiden. We highly recommend it.

“The upper suite was roomy and private. It has a view of the canal and town and its own little rooftop seating area. It is no trouble to walk a few steps down the stairs to share the toilet. S shower and sink are already in the room with you.”

“The Studio was a bit dark because of it's location at the bottom on the house, but I believe that the rooms up the (steep, narrow) staircase are much brighter. That being said, The Studio was incredibly pleasant, and it had its own toilet!”
