This Hotel had been recommended to us. They had been sending me emails with their great offers on a regular basis, last 2 years or so. At last we end up going to this lovely old fishing village. We did not stay in this hotel, but reserved one of their best tables overlooking the Veerse Lake for dinner. Unbelievably rude...

I spent one night in this hotel during a cycling tour of Zealand, the staff was friendly and the room was ok. We got room number 4, which is located next to the terrace of the restaurant and under a corridor leading to the toilets and other rooms, and which has the acoustic isolation of the Middle Ages, so a...

Came back this year with a stopover for 2 nights on the way back to UK. Veere is as beautiful as before but did not feel the hotel is as good as last time. Again did not stay in the main hotel building but at Waterschip. The bed is not very comfortable with a thinner mattress on top of another...

If you want authentic, dont look any further. This is a great place to stay in Veere. Our room had a beautiful view over the water, superbe decoration and the breakfast was not only delicious but also took place in the main tower, over looking the harbour. A unique experience!!

This beautiful hotel is simply the most elegant I ever seen in Zeeland. Located in the harbour, just in front of the water, it´s just a few steps from the market place. The hotel was an ancient fortress so you feel like you live in a castle ! The room was lovely, decorated with refinement. Bedding was very comfortable and...

This was our 2nd time at the Toren, and was just as good as the previous time. Veere is a very special place, full of history (with Scottish connections too), and has beautifully preserved architectural gems. The village exudes peace and relaxation, and the Hotel is very laid back and welcoming. We had a main room last time (room 1)...

After a visit nearly 25 years ago, I had a chance to visit Veere again with my wife and two college aged sons. If you have a day or day and half to spare, try to make the trip to Veere, NL. You can check out the town in detail on-line, but in summary its a VERY quaint town directly...

We really enjoyed our city break in Veere. The hotel was perfect and we were amazed by the large garden of our room (Room 17!) and the relaxing atmosphere of the garden and the room. There was a lot of space in the room, the only downside that you hear the other guest very clearly when they walked down hall...

I must admit that I love historic hotels but due to frequent trips usually try to save. This time the circumstances allowed to spend a little more and we didn't regret. The reception, restaurant and the main building rooms are located in the medieval tower on the banks of Veerse Meer. And I loved both the interior and exterior. The...
