The breakfast was very good which was served between 10-12 am in the brasserie L' Anders on the ground floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to everything. Steep and narrow stairs as in all old buildings in Netherland.

This B&B is located right on the market place. All of the staff is super friendly and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. As in all old buildings in Netherland, the stair is very narrow and steep (do not carry to much luggage with you) :-) The two "budget rooms" is big and comfortable but do not...

Very cute B & B. We had room #1. We were right above the Grote Markt. Great location. Sharon who met is is very gracious & accommodating. The room is spacious. The windows overlook the main area of town. They have a fridge stocked with wine, sparkling water, juices & sodas. It is a steep climb to the rooms so...

We just got home from a one month trip and our last two nights were spent in this B&B. We were on the top floor so two narrow, steep flights of stairs but once you got there what a view! The room was simply but very comfortably furnished and the bed linens are very nice. The bathroom was small but...

Do you think Amsterdam is too expensive to stay? I agree! You do better choose to stay at Haarlem, a half hour by train. So you could go and return easily. We were in B&B L'Anders, just around the corner the Saint Bavon Cathedral (awsome!). It is a very small inn above L'Anders Brasserie. Just four rooms, very simple, but...

We read great reviews of this B and B before we booked it. They said great views, great breakfast, friendly hosts. Our view was of 3 dirty walls and a kitchen exhaust. Our breakfast was some packaged bars, sandwiches and a box of juice because we didn't want to wait until 10am for a proper one. What tourists want to...

This is B&B that is more of an inn than a B&B but it's strengths are in its caring staff. We arrived too early for check in so we left the bags until we returned later that day. The staff carried our stuff up to the top floor on those notorious Netherland steep stairs. Room was comfortable and had all...

We arrived 2 hours early so the staff took our bags. We had a great lunch in the restaurant. When we were finished the staff took our bags to our room. The room was very big and had an awesome view of the historic Grote market square. Directly next door is a church where Mozart played the organ. There is...

We stayed here for a concert a little while back. The location is lovely, as are the staff and the meals. They even had a small fridge stacked with drinks for you to use if you liked free of charge! We left a few in return for the next guests. Fair's fair :)

The Bed & Breakfast L'Anders is located above the Brasserie and gives a direct view on the big market square, the Grote Markt, in the old town of Haarlem. It's a town which is perfectly situated, close to Amsterdam, Schiphol international airport and the beaches of Blomendaal and Zandvoort. But itself Haarlem offers you its History, its architecture, its shops (Haarlem is regularly reward the best town to shop in Holland), its good Life style and plural charms. The B&B has 4 rooms: 2 rooms gives a perfect view on the big square and its alive days & nights; 2 rooms gives you peace and rest after a very intense sight seeing or just shopping in town. The rooms are old but updated with the taste of nowadays. The breakfast is provided downstairs in the Brasserie. ... more   less
