The room was clean, well-lighted, comfortable and the service, great. Terrific shower and feather beds. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The dining area available to us at any time. Perfect for late afternoon tea. Both our hosts were very helpful providing info for restaurants, activities and transportation. The location is centrally in old Haarlem which is nicely away...

An excellent place for a short city break. Very conveniently located. The hosts are lovely people - friendly, helpful and altogether very nice. The room was small but spotlessly clean. Adequate breakfast. Tea and coffee facility in the restaurant. Highly recommende if you want to see Keukenhof, Leiden, Delft

I can't imagine a better experience. Hospitality, convenience, cleanliness, etc, all top notch. And, Haarlem is a wonderful town. Highly reccommended. If you are coming to Amsterdam, do yourself a favor a spend a day or two in Haarlem at the Hotel Malts.

Great location for visiting Amsterdam, The Hague, Delft, Keukenhof Gardens etc. Haarlem is a pleasanter place to stay than Amsterdam, especially at the time of year we went because it's tulip time and everywhere is very busy with tourists. The weekend we visited there was a special parade of floats in Haarlem all decorated with flowers and petals , and...

Easy access to the train station as well as attractions in central Haarlem. One caveat - if you are in rooms 6-15 then you must climb 51 stairs to reach your floor; there are...

No tea and coffee in rooms but you can use the kitchen where tea, coffee and cookies are available any time, there is also a honesty bar...

We chose Malts Hotel to be our base as we took my mother on a surprise trip to see the tulips. It could not have been better. Ideally situated within a stones throw from the quaint city centre but at the same time quiet and peaceful. Henk, Annemarie and Cataligne were amazing hosts, welcoming us with good coffee and a...
