This is a boutique hotel in the charming neighborhood of de Pijn. There are cool shops, bars, and restaurants all within a couple of blocks of the hotel. I could have stayed longer in Amsterdam just to explore the neighborhood. The fries in a cone taste better when you’re not eating them on Dam square with every other tourist. :)...

Stayed for 3 nights, had a room on the top floor, fairly small but clean. Adequate for our trip. Shower was good and plenty of towels. Our first day was really hot, the window was open but no breeze. No AC and no fan. It was most uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the floor as the coolest place....

This was my second time staying at Hotel V Frederiksplein, each time has been for 5 nights. The first time I stayed was six years ago in 2011, and I was decently satisfied with my experience considering I paid a much lower price than the rates I paid on my most recent trip. I would have thought they would have...

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns about your second stay at Hotel V Frederiksplein. We will pass on your feedback to the management, but there are some points we'd like to gently address. Since your last stay the whole hotel actually has undergone renovations- hallways, wallpaper, double-glazing on the front facing windows, new decor for the lobby,...

Hotelv. A very clean hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental with varied choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm with sash windows that opened, however it was classed as a large twin but it definitely wasn't the beds were close together and close to the wall, only a small hanging space...

Stayed here for a long weekend in March. Hotel location is brilliant. Right next to tram line and also within walking distance of the city centre, the walk is beautiful along the canals (takes about 20 mins strolling). The hotel is lovely, staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was quite small(standard room) but very...

Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 102 which on the reservation details stated it was a large twin room. If that was large I would not want a small. My friend had to shuffle sideways at the end of the beds to get to hers. Very basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable and a...

Travelled to Amsterdam for the weekend and booked to stay for 2 nights. Since this was the busiest weekend (King's Day), we were offered the last available room in the basement and were advised it was the smallest (10 sq metres) - Room #002. For the price and proximity to the city centre, this was the best offer we had....

I was unlucky with my rooms... Had ordered and payed extra for a large double room (instead of standard) to be able to sit and do some work in the room. The first room was a very small double room (room 104) - with less than a meter on each side of the bed, just enough space to open the...

We stayed in the V Frederiksplein for 4 nights. We arrived later than planned but i had sent an email prior to arrival to let them know, they responded within 10 minutes to personally acknowledge they had received the notification. My kind of customer service!! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly face and person on the...
