My wife and I stayed for one night in Qbic Amsterdam, in May 2014. It is about 15-20 minutes from Schiphol Airport Arrivals if you take a train direct to Amserdam Zuid, so it's extremely quick and easy to get to. The hotel is cheap by Amsterdam standards, and is clean and fresh-feeling. You probably won't find another hotel of...

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The hotel is easily accessible by train from the Schiphol airport and other types of public transport are available within walking distance. This makes it easy for you to escape the ghost city during the weekend and explore the city centre. Some of our rooms don’t have windows, you...

I stayed in the Qbic Hotel on an overnight in Amsterdam in May 2014 Although the hotel is very near the South train station it was not really very easy to find. A bigger, more prominent sign required. I wandered in the hotel and was met by a very curt and disinterested man who checked me in. The room was...

HI, Thank you for your honest review. Unfortunately, due to permit restrictions, we are not allowed to put up a bigger sign for our guests. However when exiting the train station to the ‘Zuidplein’ you can see the hotel on your right-hand side. You can also check the map and route information on our website. The “artwork” is there to...

It is really good, clean, good prices, but since I was there for a business trip, the only problem was that there is not a closet with hangers in the room. Only 3 hangers in the clotheshorse... and if 2 people stay in the room, more hangers are needed..

Hi, Thank you for your review. The standard closet space in the room is indeed limited, it is however possible to provide you with additional closet space. Please don’t hesitate to ask for this, especially when you visit us again for multiple days. We would love to welcome you again in our hotel. Kind Regards, Luisana Kocks Qbic Team Amsterdam

Hi There! Great to hear from you! Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Our hotel is ideal for exploring the city of Amsterdam. Al kinds of public transport are within walking distance. Room was 'cold', drab, soul less, looking out onto office blocks whereas there were better views & sunshine in the front rooms. Open toilet whereby if anyone entered the room they would see you 'on the throne'. We checked out a night early having only stayed 1 out of 2 nts. Avoid like the plague unless you don't care where...

Hi! Very unfortunate to hear about your experience with the Qbic Hotel. The cubi concept is a concept where all basic amenities are build in one ‘giant cube’ and on the far side has a desk. We’re sorry that the concept didn’t live up to your expectations. The Qbic Hotel is situated in the WTC, the first four floors were...

Staff was very helpful and tried to do their best to provide the basic amenities to the guests as there were none in the room. Room was too hot and despite requests, I was not provided with fan. Mind you there was absolute skeleton staff at night. Breakfast at the cost of 11 euro was barely justified. During the day...

Hi, We're very sorry to hear that the hotel didn't live up to your expectations. The temperature in the room can be adjusted by the service managers, unfortunately we do not have fan's at our disposal. It's a great idea though, what we might implement later. It's true that there are no bathroom doors in our rooms, however there are...

Average hotel, expensive for one night but it was a public holiday. Better directions needed. Nice enough hotel for one night but not very many amenities in the room for a longer stay and a door or curtain at the toilet would be nice!

Dear Claire, First of all thank for leaving a review! Indeed our rooms are more expensive during holidays and events in Amsterdam. Don’t let that stop you for coming, as Amsterdam goes crazy during the holdiays! Our rooms are designed and all have an opening in the bathroom. In the hallway of the WTC are lavatories which our guest can...

This is our second stay at Qbic. I like the concept although our room the first time was cooler with different lights and stuff. This was their cheapest room €74, with no window (I didn't mind that).
