Stayed here During the ISE, Check In is easy, buzzer entry. Allocated Room on the 2nd floor, easily accessed by the lift. Room was nice and spacious, with 2 of us Staying I was on the Sofa Bed and my Colleague on the Bed. To be honest the sofa Bed was easy to unfold and was very comfortable. Lovely if not compact en suite bathroom, great shower. Little kitchen was handy and the coffee machine a god send (replenished with new coffee pods daily) the room was cleaned Dailey with fresh linen and towels. The area itself is pleasant and bit more local than staying in the centre. About a 10 min walk from the De Pijp metro and also well served with local Trams so as long as you are not partying too late public transport is decent but a Cab from the Centre will cost around 20 Euros. All in all, was an enjoyable stay, good area if you want to avoid the Hustle and Bustle and very good value for the apartment you get. …
We had the front cellar apartment....only daylight was from an 18 inch high window at the front of the apartment....just about the right height for a passing dog to cock it’s leg. When we arrived we asked if we could have a different apartment...they said they didn’t have one. So we stuck it for 4 days. This apartment would be declared unfit for human habitation in the UK. The photo of the apartment on my booking confirmation email was not a bit like the dungeon we got...
We throughly enjoyed our stay in this well designed apartment on a quiet street, just three blocks from the Van Gogh museum, concert hall, and tram stop. A full sized grocery was just beside the museum, and many restaurants were nearby. Communication with the staff was easy, and though they are not generally on site, the place felt very safe and secure, even when we returned late at night. If you want to have an experience away from the crowded tourist areas, this is a great option.
Pros: -We opted to not have our room cleaned each day we were there, but fresh towels were left outside our door -The kitchenette was fully stocked with any cooking utensils you would need -Great location close to museums and tram lines -Good price for size of room and area -There is a washing machine and drying rack so you can do laundry -A fan was provided (there’s no air conditioning) Cons: -The dishwasher in the room did not work well, and it was the only way to clean dishes (no dish soap, sponge) -There was a used “cigarette” left behind on the bedside table -There was a fairly large reddish stain on the bedding
apartment was clean tidy and warm and the shower was great. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Only thing that was missing was a toaster for breakfast. Would go there again. It takes about 30min to walking into the town but there is so much to see on the way. If you don't want to waking there is lot of trams and buses.
One of the best place to stay. Clean, comfy and location is perfect. I would recommend totally this place. Tram stop is nearby. There are many famous museum nearby and super market is also very near. 10/10
Good location. Comfy bed. Coffee machine broken. Oven floods room with smoke when switched on. Staff said will fix the next day, after we had left... For that price, may as well stayed in a hotel. Had to throw out all our food we bought.
We booked the Nova Apartments from the decent reviews about and glad we did. We wanted to stay in the `Museumplein area with the Albert Cuyp market nearby and location wise this was spot on. Easy to get to from Centraal Station with just one tram that drops you off at the bottom of the street. You can get to Dam Dq in half hour by foot or 10 minutes by tram, the museums are on your doorstep and the theres lots around to keep you busy. They have utilised the space really well in the apartment with a decent bathroom, fully loaded kitchen, seating/chilling area and a comfortable sleeping area all tastefully furnished. The added bonus of the small balcony, espresso machine and the use of a lift in the property was a huge plus. Our apartment was cleaned daily, fresh towels and refills of coffee pods was appreciated and generally the standard of the place was really good. It does need a lick of paint here and there but that detracts nothing that the charm of the space has, what you have available to you and the location of the place make this a must if you want to stay in the area. Be it using the place as a pit stop for the day or lounging around in the comfy seating and super soft bed for the day, the place does it all. Really impressed with our stay here and would love to come back. …
The apartment in the Nova Hotel annexe is comfortable and well furnished. Being in the basement it is somewhat dark and not very well ventilated, but has a door to the garden. There’s a trade-off between getting air and feeling safe. Some of the fittings are showing their age. No drawers to put clothes in. The staff have been pleasant and helpful. It was a precipitous walk down the stairs for an old lady with a bag - I don't know yet how I'll get back up. The location in the museum area is close to restaurants, delis, supermarkets, concert hall, and of course, the museums. The building is different from the Nova Hotel, though operated by the Nova Hotel.
I came to Amsterdam with 3 colleagues and we shared to apartments with 2 single beds each. Our conference was in the RAI and the apartments were ideally located a 10 minute cycle or a metro ride away, while also being very close to museum square and not too far from the city centre. The apartments are spacious and very nice. Would stay here again.
