Just spent a lovely few days at this Hotel. Rooms are a good size and well appointed and the location is perfect for exploring beautiful Amsrerdam. Very friendly staff who made the whole experience that much better. We will be back

I loved so many things about my several stays in this hotel. the friendliness of the staff, the lovely breakfast, the pretty rooms, the location, the tea and cofee facilites found in each room (well at least in mine !) etc...would happily go back whenever i am in amsterdam.

TO MUCH noise from street in the nights. In rooms to the street is it NOT possibel to sleep in weekends.

Hotel Golden Bear is clean, comfortable, and (for Amsterdam) inexpensive. And, it is in a great location to all things Gay in downtown AMS (Thermos Sauna, Church (the only club that has something going on almost every night) and a gay bar (Spiker) right down the street. Just joking!!!!! cause the owner (Theo) forgot to left me the ticket how to leave a note and charged me €40 for a peace off paper (not really), but seriously.... I love this hotel!!!!!! The owner is charming and very friendly, the hotel is very well located. clean rooms, clean beds, we had to share a shower and toilet, but...

I just spent 4 days in Amsterdam with three nights stay at The Golden Bear! What a great place to stay at! The receptionists at the hotel were very nice and very helpful. My room was located at the very top of the hotel (3rd floor) and it was also at the back of the hotel so I heard no...
