We have been fortunate enough to stay in many nice accommodations in our travels, but, have no reservations about saying that my room at the Kamer was the best of all that I have encountered. The stylish flair of design and service, the beauty and romanticism of the location on the Singel Canal, the close proximity to many of the...

With the combination of a great location, modern yet comfortable accommodation and the warm hospitality of both Peter and Wolter it was just the start to our European vacation we needed. Breakfasts were beautifully prepared and fresh the refrigerator always stocked with plenty of cold refreshments or if you would prefer there was always coffee, teas, chocolates and treats. The...

I can only agree with the other reviews here. B&B Kamer 01 is perfectly located on a picturesque canal. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and most of all the friendly and most helpful service provided by the host Peter. I would not hesitate to reccommend to stay here.

You will not find better B&B than this. Perfect location. The whole ambience was fantastic: Peter and Wolter took care of everything and made our stay absolutely perfect. Afternoon drinks and the most perfect breakfast topped it all off. If you can make it up rather steep stairs then you do not want to look for another B&B in Amsterdam.

We wanted to be in Amsterdam for a few days to meet up with my Sister & husband (who were flying in from Australia to go on a cruise) so, having never been before, where do we stay......found Kamer01 on Trip Advisor. Seemed ideal for us - only 2 rooms, central canalside location, unique, luxurious & contemporary inside - but...

We really enjoyed our stay in Kamer01. It's a unique place to stay. And Peter, Wolter and not to forget Tommy saw to it that we had a very familiarly stay.

Back in Amsterdam for the third time and of course we stayed with Peter and Wolter at Kamer01. They really set the bar at the top when it comes to hospitality. Finally, we got great weather in Amsterdam and were able to spend some time on the charming roof top garden area. You have to climb a ladder to get...

If you want a unique experience and enjoy beautiful creative design, Kamer01 is for you. The location is central and ideal including a grand view of the Singel Canal. Peter is most attentive and Tommie, his dog, is a constant homey touch. You must negotiate tiny, steep stairs, but all the lovely old homes along the canals have them. Highly...

We had a lovely 3 night stay here in May. We were greeted in the street by Walter (I think we looked totally lost) and were taken up to the breakfast room to check in and offered a nice refreshing drink. We were in the blue room which is as lovely as all the previous reviews say. Stairs are quite...

Our stay at kamer 01 could not have been better. The 15th Century canal house provided a perfect mix of the old and the new with stunning canal views from both bedroom and breakfast room. It provided the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The combination of delightful surroundings and genuine attention to detail was exemplary, hosting the best of...
