Great hotel for a quick break to Amsterdam. Free ferry to the city is just about 100m from the hotel, leaves every 30 minutes or so, brings you to the central train sation. |if you are travelling by car, there is a paid car park for E15 per day just outside the hotel.

Currently staying at the NDSM Doubletree and sorry to say I haven’t been wowed to date. From arriving yesterday and given warm cookies which was a lovely touch I agree but then going to your room and finding a mouldy cookie covered in cobwebs on top of your cupboard doesn’t leave

Since the ferry dosent go 24/7 how is it to go by taxi from centrum of Amsterdam to the this hotel?
Wont advise you to take a taxi in Amsterdam; rude drivers and exceptionele high prices they try to charge you and also to our local people; from the centre to the hotel takes quite a time! The ferry Goes until 23.55 and starts early in the morning before 6... either return to the hotel before night or party over in the centre until early morning. Have fun in Amsterdam

Does the free ferry run 24/7, or does it stop at some point at night? I understand it runs every 15 minutes.

what is the rate for incidentals held on your credit card at check in?
It depends on the number of days you are staying. I think I was held for 100 Euros per day.

Is this hotel close to the cruise ship terminal. The terminal for large ships not Viking cruises.
No it is fairly far from the cruise ship terminal. I would recommend the Movenpick or maybe the Lloyd hotel if you are on a cruiseship.
