We arrived in Amsterdam and got the tram to hotel Titus, it is easy to get to and in a good location, within walking distance of tram stops and a 20-30 min walk to Dam square which is not so bad. The room was awful! We were in the room just by reception, a bit noisy but that was not...

Dirty, uncomfortable, unfriendly staff, and over priced. Charged us a deposit for TOWELS AND REMOTE CONTROL. One of the A**HOLES working there yelled at us for coming in late when we weren't even making any noise. We had an emergency and they wouldn't even let my friend who was staying in another room call or visit my room. This place...

This lovely hotel is right next to one of the gracht. Just ask for room with the view. The only con are the steep stairs to the upper flors. But it is usual in Netherlands. Hotel Titus serve nice breakfast downstairs. It contains from milk/tee/cofee and some rolls with butter, marmelade and cheese. They offer free WiFi.

The hotel is very conveniently situated in a good area. The hotel is clean and fairly basic. The breakfast was very good. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Yes, we will return and the stairs are part of the Amsterdam experience!

I don't understand the negative reviews. For the price, this was the best value hotel that I stayed in during my month long tour of Europe. Pros: - Extremely cheap - I paid 50 Euro a night for a double room, which is about the price of a cheap hostel, let alone a hotel in such a great location. -...

This july we were 4 grown ups who travelled to Amsterdam. We first spent two nights in one 3 star hotel, and then 2 nights at Hotel Titus, and the price for these two hotels were exactly the same. We knew that Hotel Titus didn´t have the best standard, but we didn´t imagine that it could be SO horrible. To...

Just back from the Titus in Amsterdam and to sum it all up it was dreadful! Where do i start, stinking, toilets, showers, room, paint hanging off ceilings, un-professional staff! We stayed in room no.1 which is right beside the shared toilet, due to there being about an inch gap between the doors and frames all we could smell was...
