Wouldn’t even rate this place 1 star. So this picture that is advertised isn’t the hotel i was located at, the reception was the main building in the picture, the place i was staying was around the corner.

They don't make up beds.
The room is falling apart.
Extremely inconvenient to walk inside the room.
However, fresh crispy new linens.. this is good...
The stairs going to the reception is cheaply done, very steep, so be very careful.

Nice hotel, ideally located in the heart of the city, yet quiet. Everything is within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Well achieved with OV. Car is cheap to park in one of P + R garages.
Although this hotel is a little shabby and needing a little upgrade its in a great location. Rooms are quite small but very clean and serviced every day. Had a canal view with balcony which would pay that little extra for. Some reviews mention steep...More

Yes, the hotel is located in the city centre of Amsterdam. It's just 1 minute walk from Leidsesquare (Leidseplein) where you have many bars and restaurant, there is a coffee shop as well (called Bulldog).
