the room is so comfy, warm in the nasty winter weather in December.. Paul & Karen are so warm hearted people and makes the stay more enjoyable. Especially with flexibility when it comes to unplanned-extended stay. The kitchen is accessible and could cater your homesickness by making your own omelette.

returned from staying at the Tulips. Hotel was in a peacfull area. You could walk through the park to one of the shopping areas or take the local tram which come every 10 mins. Amsterdam is expensive becaused of the euro £5.00 for one pint of lager £7.00 for a vodka and coke but besides the price we had an...

This B&B is better for a serene extended stay than for a weekend dash through the sites of the city. is located at the foot of Amsterdam's kilometer-long city park, so it is a bit overpriced considering it is a 25-minute tram ride from the main train station. We first read about this site in Rick Steve's guidebook. Paul, the...

We loved our stay at Tulips in April 2009 so much that it will always be our home away from home in Amsterdam. The rooms are delightful--airy, light, clean, and comfortable, beautifully situated on the Schinkel Canal. It's quiet because it's just outside the city center but it's convenient--the Vondelpark is a five-minute walk away, just across the canal, and...

This place was lovely. It rained quite a bit while we werre in Amsterdam, and it was nice to have such a comfortable place to keep dry. We had a double room with a shared bathroom for three nights on the ground floor facing the canal. When we arrived, Paul gave us a map of the local area, which is...

One of the most outstanding B&Bs in which my girlfriend and I have stayed, US or EU. Clean-clean-clean, wonderful bed, air conditioned, great location, convenient to transportation and a very nice "Central Park" quality park. We had the top-floor suite, and it blew us away. We stocked up at the local supermarket, and enjoyed our own sumptuous breakfasts and wine-cheese-baguette...

We stayed at the Tulips B&B at the end of June 2009 for three nights. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Paul. Once we negotiated the extremely steep second floor stairs (which are not mentioned on the website) to the suite, Paul proceeded to give us some very useful information about the city, including location of restaurants, park, tourist...

At first we were hesitant about staying in Amsterdam and thought it would be too busy and too expensive. I'm SO glad that we stayed there and a major reason why is because of our wonderful stay in the Canal House Suite. Originally we thought we couldn't afford it, but because we planned to stay a full week they offered...

Recently stayed here with a friend, for a long weekend trip to Amsterdam. After finding hotels to have mixed reviews for not so good prices, we decided to check out B&Bs. This one had the best reviews and a great price. Finding the B&B was easy, with tram directions from Central train station. Though, come to find out, there is...
