So many details were a step shy of expected. 2.5 if I could give such a rating. They have a staffing problem and I believe it stems from the root culture of the hotel chain. We had to call the desk fo something that was...More
Great location for Museums and Galleries, shopping and transport.
Staff friendly and helpful. Upgrade room spacious and well appointed with great view of city. Shower (over bath) a disappointment. Bed very comfortable. General decor a bit dated but this hotel is good value for money.
We arrived at the Museum Quarter and we were tired from a long flight and the check in was a process.Once we were done with that everything went smoothly. The hotel is very close to museums and open market. Easy walk to all attractions. The bar...More
Booked a twin room. Was as expected. Nice, peaceful, clean and very comfortable stay. Good value and I would recommend this hotel for a weekend stay.

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
