5 mins walk to the train station. Comfortable walk to van gogh museum. Very convenient for main shopping area and red light district. Many good bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Staff friendly. Room very clean and good size. Beds very comfortable. I'd happily go back again.

We booked a triple room for ourselves and teenage daughter for 2 nights. Location was fantastic - right next to the Central station. Room was fairly small but adequate and bathroom was compact but clean and the shower was very good. For 3 stars, we got what we expected - no frills like fancy toiletries or tea making equipment but...

The hotel is located a short walk away from the train station, so from a location perspective is good. Unfortunately that is where the good points end. We paid €130 for a night, and were told upon checkin that the hotel was fully booked, so we were being upgraded to a large family room instead. So far so good, until...

I do not like all inclusive packages, but availability was low, so I ended up making a reservation at the Ibis Styles. The hotel was a good surprise. Great location close to the central station, a comfortable bed and a nice courtesy package. Breakfast, though, was just average.

The rooms are small and simple, but extremely clean and beautiful. The front-desk is helpful. Near walking distance to the Red Light District and Amsterdam Central Train Station. Beautiful canals, offering cruises, are just a few hundred yards away.

Stayed here with 3 friends in November. The location is great and a good place to base yourself. Although the rooms were small there is so much to do in Amsterdam that we did not spend much time in the room anayway. The hotel bar had a good selection of food and drink and was great value for money.

I can't recommend this hotel and would not stay there again. The room was very small and basic. There was only room for a bed and not much more. Also, the hotel is located just by the train station and the main travel hub but the soundproofing is non existent. The windows weren't even double glazed but just old, steal...

The hotel was lovely and clean, fresh and in a great location to explore Amsterdam. the hotel is just around the corner from the number 1 stop for the hop on and hop off bus tours. Very close to central station. The breakfast was pretty basic but nice enough. I don't have a bad thing to say. They even looked...

Could not rate this hotel highly enough. Yes it is small but for me it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, fantastic staff who could not have done enough for our whole party, gorgeous free tea and coffee in the lobby at all times. I stayed here from Fri 27th to Mon 30th Jan 2017. 2 additional comments that made the stay...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
