Our stay at this hotel was amazing from the beginning till the end! The staff, the room, the breakfast... Everything was very good. This is the best time in Amsterdam from all our trips to the city....
Pretty good. big room , nice design, big shower , bed and tv.
the location is wonderful , 1 minute walk from dam square but on a side street could be noisy on the weekends.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and will be coming back in the near future.
The hotel is located near Dam Square, so you're in the middle of the centre of Amsterdam and it's only a 10 minute walk from the main station. On my...More
Loved our brief stay in this cool ( hip) hotel pretty much in the centr of town, yet in a small side street so its still pretty quiet at night with only limited foot traffic. If you like light spacious hotels, this is not for...More
Friendly staff, best food we had in amsterdam in the restaurant and a location 2 mins of dam square for the wild NYE party. Comfortable quirky rooms, comfortable beds and an amazing shower make this a perfect spot to stay. Will be back for sure!

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some
less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.

Schiphol airport is about 30 km. The airport has its own train station, easily reachable from inside the arrival hall and with train connections every 5 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal Station. From there you can either take the tram number 16 (platform A3 outside the station, on the left corner of the same) and get off the tram at the stop "Dam", than it's less than 5 minutes walking, just ask direction for "Nes". Otherwise you can walk from the station but it's closer to 30 minutes (with luggage and stuff). A Taxi will cost you maximum 50 euros (that's an honest taxi fare, of course), a Uber something less.
