First we had to wait 90 minutes for our room, despite we arrived at 3 p.m. that is check-in. Receptionist wasn't very nice and didn't offer some compensation. We got one of the worst rooms in ground floor. Breakfasts were average, the table was dirty when we came. There was no housekeeping during our stay. Rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything include airplanes that fly very often. Don't recommend this hotel.
The hotel is situated at a convenient location close to a tram stop which reaches to the Amsterdam South station that can transfer you to the airport or Central stations accordingly. The check in and out speed is efficient. The staff are friendly. Free Wi-Fi, even though the speed is slow, increases satisfaction. The restaurant serves the needs for daily breakfast. The room is clean and new. Sleep comfort is fine. The amenities are missing in the room and it is expected that you ask for them when you need. There is no minibar or safe for your daily needs. You need to buy the drinks from the hotel or supermarket but to keep them in the room, there are no options. I suggest for short occasions both for business and leisure.
Very good standard of rooms here for an express hotel. They’re not always quite as good, but this one was modern and felt quite spacious with comfy bed, powerful shower & decent TV. The chap on reception was really helpful. I hadn’t realised that they didn’t do evening meals here, but he gave some good alternative options. Bonus here was that parking was free overnight providing you leave by 9. Breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy, but decent enough to set you up for the day. I’d most likely return!
We stayed for 3 nights. Easy to get to from Schiphol airport via train and tram (no 5) The hotel is in a suburban area with a small row of shops close by, Jumbo supermarket is particularly handy. This is a great location for plane spotting as not far from the airport but we weren't bothered by any noise during our stay and slept really well. We had twin beds and a shower in the bathroom, lovely and clean and comfortable. My only gripe would be there were no USB ports for charging my phone, I had to borrow a plug and adaptor from the friends we travelled with. There is a Japanese restaurant close by but otherwise no bars or other nightlife so when you get back to the hotel its either a drink in the hotel bar or an early night. For the price would definitely stay here again as was really quick and easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam by tram to Zuid station then the metro to the centre.…
