We spent two nights at Tulip of Amsterdam and what a treat it was. Our room was quaint and at the top of the house up an old spiral staircase. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Chris and David are delightful and did everything to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was self service with so many...

My partner and I stayed here in August this year for 2 nights. We arrived late on our first night due to train trouble (which was a Saturday night as well) and I rang the host who was very understanding and accommodating and waited for us. Our room was perfect and had a view of the canal. It was decorated...

We were not disappointed!! This B&B is in a great location. We walked all around the area during our 2night stay. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Some great restaurants close by. Chris and David make you feel right at home. For breakfast they had eggs, yummy breads, yogurt, cheese and lots of fresh fruit. It was...

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday in July. She requires medical equipment, syringes, to take her medication. I contacted the Tulip and told them that as I surprise I couldn't get a doctors letter for her to travel with the items. They went out of their way to source these and have them waiting on...

The Tulip B&B in Amsterdam didn't disappoint in any way. From the moment I was greeted by David it was like welcoming a friend. I stayed in the Dutch room & it was spacious, very clean and wonderfully decorated. That night I had such a peaceful and relaxed sleep on a ultra firm & soft mattress with down comforters. This...

Well... when we booked this B&B it sounded great and .... we were certainly not dissapointed. We were welcomed by Chris who gave us information about Tulip and Amstedam.... and then carried our heavy bag up to our room! The description warns everyone about the stairs and we knew our bedroom was two flights up but we were pleasantly surprised......

It was our second stay at Tulip and it was a no brainer where we would stay after we loved it so much back in September last year. I wasn't an exaggeration when I said we would never stay anywhere else in Amsterdam as long as Chris and David run their Tulip of Amsterdam B&B. We really have the feeling...

A Lovely place to stay when visiting Amsterdam. Ideally located, so most places are within walking distance. The welcome is warm and please do check out the marketing director. My room was cute and I mean that in the nicest possible way...in short when visiting Amsterdam why not stay here instead of a hotel

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
