Awful hotel not as advertised , dirty , un secured and broken . In my travelling partners opinion so bad we couldn't stay . Spent 273 euros on a room we didn't stay in no effort in even letting us air our problems with management. Total rip off. As a man with young children who can afford to lose that...

We were 3 and had a room for 4 people. Very small, small beds, inside the room you hear all noises from other rooms, terrible private bathroom. Only the shower was good. Even a hostel might be more comfortable. Would not recommend it.

no bedding was supplied when you come back to your hotel late at night you expect these things to be their towels were supplied for a shower and the beds are low density foam so very soft with a permeant body imprint in them

Wi fi not working, dirty bathroom, very high bed, not enough space in room. But beside that it was quite nice, very nice people working there, very helpfull, price quite good, location also, warm rooms (maybe even too warm..) It is okay to stay there but I was in better hostels on the area of Leidseplein. :)

The room was not clean. We booked a double bed and we got two bedseparate of different hight so we couldn't sleep together. The toilet on our flour was unusable so we had to use the ones on the other floors

After reading the reviews, wasn't expecting too much. Room was clean, centrally located. No lift and steep stairs was a downside. Price was high for such a low budget room. Would only recommend if you weren't planning to spend anytime indoors!

Friendly staff and good location. Very cheap and rooms are spacious with bunk beds. I stayed for one night only, checked in around 8pm and then went into town. Returned around 4am, which was simple as the key card opens front door and dorm door.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
