Do not go expecting luxury and you will not be disappointed. The rooms are supersmall, same with bathroom. Wifi is fast, bathrooms have 24 hours hot water, which was very much appreciated. Another weird thing about this hotel is that they have steps everywhere.....you climb 6 steps to get to reception, then you get to the corridor to the right...

Travelled with 3 friends to Amsterdam and stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The location was excellent as it was very central to everything in the city and the rooms are a good standard, considering the price you pay to stay here. Also breakfast was very good with a good selection from continental breakfast to hot food. Overall, I...

I just got back from Amsterdam and I was rather satisfied with this hotel. I was previously in Quentin and decided I needed a change so I left to this place and it was to my expectations. Breakfast was good but too small compound most of us had no place to seat despite food still being served. Attentiveness is another...

The hotel in general is not special: ok-sized rooms, generally clean, so do not expect it to be above the average. BUT! The location is very good - no hassle after you arrive from the airport by train, and it is quite easy to find. It is close to everything and is perfect for a night or two. We have...

First of all, the room does not seem as the pictures available at the website. At least my room was considerably smallest and the bathroom had the same feature. I would have problems if I had much luggage to handle. However, I didn’t consider a totally uncomfortable place. It was clean, with a suitable heating system and invigorating shower. Wi-Fi...

Stayed here as a couple in november. Location- Really good location about a 5 minute walk from central station so depending on the reason for your trip, you'll be close to damrak and rokin for the coffee shops and you'll also be close to the canal boats, tour & trip places. Rooms- Rooms did the job, they are mostly almost...

This hotel is perfectly situated just across from central station. It is a few minutes walk to Red Light District, Anne Frank house. The doors are locked at all times to get into the hotel so you know not anybody and everybody can walk into the hotel which was really comforting. The bedroom we had was a reasonable size, however...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, I found the rooms really clean they were a little dated. The wifi was fast. The breakfast was very nice. it is right across from central station so it is a great central hotel with very reasonable prices.

Location about 5 min walk from Central train station. Room was on first floor at the back so no view unfortunately but spacious and clean. Only drawback was shower not very powerful. Breakfast selection adequate but best to get in there early as they seemed to run out and not refresh the hot food very quickly. Mini bar and safe...

Stayed at the Multatuli for 5 nights in Oct 2016, the hotel is in a great location just opposite from central station. When we arrived the room was not ready so we had to wait a short time. We had booked a room for three people which was a good size and had three single beds. The room was relatively...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
