This is my second stay at Bastion in Amstel. Both times I was given a room on the ground floor which did not bother me, especially since the train passes close to the hotel and you almost do not notice it on the ground floor. The staf is nice and service-minded and the breakfast is adequate with a good choice...

Booked a delux double, not what it looked online when we checked in. Missing towels but was told guest's have to get the towels ourselves at the reception desk. The hotel is adequately clean and the staff are pleasant. But (for the money I paid, nearly €200 per night) this was not up to standard. The lift was dirty and had graffiti, the room had no facilities and the furnishings were as bad as you would find in a student dorm. The bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was very...

The front desk service was very nice but the room service was poor. No one came to clean up our room for 3 days and finally, when I complaint to front desk manager, they sent someone immediately to clean the room.

We stayed there for only one night (the last one, because the hotel we were staying before, had our room booked for our last night) so i cant tell much about the hotel. Breakfast costs 14 euro per day, per person. Rooms were small but clean, staff was excellent. When the check out time comes, the electronic cards for the...

I was only visiting Amsterdam for 2 days and needed a hotel for a night. The hotel is perfectly situated around 15 minutes away from the Airport and 10 minutes from Amsterdam Arena. The check-in only took 2 minutes; the staff were happy and helpful. The room itself was somewhat basic. Although it did have a top of the range...

First on the plus side it has nice mattresses and that firm but soft and the hotel room is good size and modern. Be aware that Bastion Hotels on do single beds. However, the room was filthy and it felt like the floor was covered in sand like the beach. We wished we brought our flip flops. To make matters...

We were very satisfied with our stay. Personal very friendly, assissting. Location very good, about 8 minutes walking to first metro station, parkink place excellent (garage). For 3 stars hotel could be almost excellent if bathroom was a little better organised.
