Breakfast is included in the room rate and there are several good options. The staff are lovely. However, there were some minuses: the bathroom had such a musty odor that...

Perfect base for a weekend in Amsterdam. All staff very helpful and friendly. Had a huge room overlooking the canal on the 2nd floor (room 4). Well equipped and well decorated with a very modern and large shower room. Stairs are steep and pretty narrow so use those handrails! Ideally located - an easy walk right into the very centre...

I did not stay in the hotel but, as with another reviewer I came across the coffee shop that also doubles as the hotel reception by chance. The receptionist, who doubles as the barista, was polite and freindly and we had a lovely coffee to wash down the most delicious cakes. Well recommended!

Female member of staff could not do enough and the apple pie was to die for. If/when we come again this will be on our list of coffee/tea places to go...
