The "hotel la Bohème" in Amsterdam is a small hotel located at 150 mt from the lively square of Leidseplein. The position of the hotel is central and perfect to visit Amsterdam. If you arrive by train for example you can take trams 1,2 or 5 from the station and get off at the leidseplain bus stop. The hotel is...

This hotel is an excellent base for your visit to Amsterdam. Our main goal was Paradiso, which is only a few steps away. There are good restaurants in the near surrounding. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are sober but clean, breakfast is basic but fresh. In short: a recommendable hotel with a good price/quality ratio. We will...

The hotel is squeezed into an old building at the back of the MelkWeg, close to the Paradiso, and the Leidseplein, in a very “happening” area (hence the explicit messages in the information booklet about no drugs in the hotel, I guess!). However you’re perfectly safe, the hotel is clean and friendly, and I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable staying...

We stayed in a triple room for a weekend and while it was basic we had everything we needed, there was enough space for us and our bags and it was clean. Breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly (even at midnight when we arrived) and it would have been easy to hang out in the dining/reception area to...

Very basic furnishings in small twin room. Very friendly and helpful staff. As others have commented about Amsterdam hotels, the La Boheme has no lift, only very steep stairs with relatively narrow treads, which makes for a strenuous climb to your room if you're traveling with large suitcases. Not suitable for anyone in wheelchair, as even entry to hotel reception/cafe...

So here's the info you should know about this hotel : I stayed in a single room. The single rooms are in a basement...when i first heard that, i thought of all the creepy and unimaginable scenarios...but to my surprise : The basement is BEAUTIFUL ! Completely furnished and decorated, and each room has access to the patio, which is...

The "La Boheme" hotel in Amsterdam is the very good place to stay, if you do not care about the size of a room and the absence of an elevator. It is good because: - The hotel is located extremely close to the major museum and arts district of the city - This location is also convenient for those (like...

I lived in Amsterdam for 8 years a long time ago. Came back this June for a few days. As a former local and now a tourist, the location of La Boheme does not get any better. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are very very basic, but clean. If you don't need luxury but just want nice service...
