Stayed in the quad room for one night. We stayed in another place near the red light district for two other nights, but wished we stayed here the whole time. Very nice neighborhood, quiet, a great play park for children across the street, tram stop right nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

All front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Stayed 3 nights. We had a room for 3 and was very roomy.. As was the bathroom. We will stay there again

I stayed at the hostel with three friends, shared two double rooms. Biggest advantage is the price, its quite cheap to stay there (cause hostels are mostly 2-night booking only). Its clean, its allright, nothing much. wouldnt recommend it for a longer stay. the rooms are tiny and the double bed is squeezed between the walls, there is no walking...

We liked everything about the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean as was the bathroom. It is also on a quiet street. The breakfast was good. If I were to go to Amsterdam again, I would be more than happy to stay there again.

I was travelling along and felt very comfortable staying here. The room was more than adequate. 70 euro a night for single that included breakfast. (boiled eggs, bread, cheese, vegetables, cereal, yoghurt etc). I could walk everywhere and a direct tram ride from the train station. It was worth the 15 euro at the end of the trip taking the...

The hotel located 20 min walking distance from the center. The toilets are not good also the bath. Cleaning is also a problem! Cheap though

It's the most disgusting place with the most horrendous staff I've ever come across in the entire life. We only booked this hotel as we arrived on Queens Day and it was the only available accommodation..we now know why. On arrival we were booked in and given our key to the room over the road. the instant we opened the...

I went back to Amsterdam and knew the only place I wanted to stay was at the Asterisk. Once again I had a very nice stay. Yes the rooms are tiny, but this is Amsterdam! The shared bathroom/shower was always clean and rarely occupied. The owners were EXTREMELY awesome, and on three separate occasions they went WAY out of their...

One of the things that we consider is the service. This Hotel has great service oriented staff. The girl on the receptionist was patient enough to show us two rooms so we can decide which one to take. And all other receptionist are as great. Now the rooms - it's spacious but it's old. As usual, it has carpets on...

However, the staff were really great and downstairs was decorated well. breakfast was continental, lots of bread and cheese, very lovely. great location- pancake restraurant right next to it and you...
