Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

The hotel is in the center of the city. It’s near to the bus station, train station and taxi is easy to reach. The room is clean and breakfast is fresh and good. I definitely coming back to Amsterdam and I’am going to book this Hotel.

Yes, the stairs are steep. Not a great hotel if you have mobility issues, but I had no trouble. Took them slow when arriving/leaving and carrying my full backpack - would not have liked to carry suitcases up. I had a single room on the top floor which had the smallest bathroom

This hotel was just outside of the city centre but was right next to a tram line and easy enough to walk in, which I did during my stay. There are a lot of stairs but I'd imagine most places in Amsterdam are the same given the building style there, and the hotel itself more than
