The hotel is in the middle of the Canal ring and is in an ideal position for exploring Amsterdam by foot. The continental breakfast was good with broad selection, and the coffee machine was excellent and accessible all day. The Staff and management were friendly and helpful, and the foyer was a pleasant and comfortable place to sit and have...

The stuff is very friendly and you feel really wellcome. It is no luxury, but for the low money you pay here, it is ok. all is functionally and coffee is free and there is a nice balcony with a great view. Only bad Thing is, that the room is really small, but it worked.

The fine team at this fine hotel should teach other hotels how to handle an issue when something goes wrong. I had a small issue with housekeeping one day while staying, and yet the superb response from the manager told me everything I needed to know about the way this hotel is managed. She took the issue (which really was...

Very friendly staff - very hospitable, welcoming, accommodating. Steep stairs, which is usual in Amsterdam, and small room and tiny bathroom. The shower was good and hot though. Room 301 has a small, covered balcony. You can hear street noises, but, again, probably to be expected. Great location near centre, station, restaurants, etc. Clean, comfortable enough, good place for one...

We recently had a delightful visit at the Hotel Clemens for two nights in December. Like other said, the stairs were a bit daunting but totally worth it! The breakfast was very nice, and the coffee machine was the best ever. the staff was friendly and helpful in every way, even bringing our bags up those steep stairways. Absolutely would...

We arrived late, were tired and were welcomed with friendliness and refreshments on the house. The atmosphere was so cosy and hospitable and everybody just made us feel at home. Great breakfast included and clean welfunctioning rooms....

Our December stay at the Hotel Clemens was outstanding. Friendly, helpful staff, great free breakfast (both hot and cold selections, and dam (!) good coffee.) The room was larger than I expected, modern and clean - very comfy beds with premium bedding. The shower had the best water pressure I have ever had. Location is great - right off the...

The room was very clean everything looked new especially the bathroom. The staff was great and ready to help at any moment. Breakfast was good. A variety of cold cut meats and cheese, boiled and scrambled eggs, croissant and more sweets. Nothing to complain about. The stairs might cause a problem to some, but it's the same as all the...

We stayed here for 2 nights and the initial shock of seeing the stairs quickly wore off when we were greeting in reception by the friendly staff and house cats. The place was immaculately decorated for Christmas which is exactly what we were looking for in a European Christmas holiday. Location was excellent, short walk to everything and cafes right...
