This hotel is very charming, and located on a very pretty corner of Prinsengracht, right where Tram 4 stops, so it is very convenient. There is a long narrow stairway once you enter, and our room on the second floor was very cozy with a huge window and lovely view of the back gardens. The beds are very comfortable, and...

My boyfrined and I are just back from a stay in amsterdam and we chose the Prisenhof and were not disappointed. Its a lovely quaint old canal house with tonnes of character overlooking the Prisengracht canal in a wonderful area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a room overlooking the canal with...

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I stayed at the Prinsenhof for 2 nights in June. We were pleasantly surprised to see the size of our room. It was huge! We had room #1 which had a double bed and one single bed, it also had a table and chairs and 2 big windows that looked out to the...

Stayed at Prinsenhof for 3 nights. Good location, easy to get to via tram and right on one of the canals. Pretty friendly staff, breakfast was not bad (bread with jams, etc, eggs, coffee/tea) and the rooms were quite unique. Negatives: Really steep stairs (like most places in amsterdam i have heard) - Also, the bathroom on our floor was...

My wife and I loved the place. The rooms are small and our full bath was in a closet...but so what? It was clean, perfectly situated for what we wanted to do and see (we walked constantly), next door to a pub, they served a nice breakfast every morning and the beds were magageable. We liked it because it was...

From talking to others staying at the hotel (and seeing the rooms on their website) I think we may have got the worst room in the hotel (room 6) Had it been only 65 euro and the bathroom in the hall, it may have been a good deal, but it had a really tiny ensuite and cost 90 euro. Far...

We stayed there for 4 nights. Our family had two rooms. The best way to get to the hotel from the Central station is via tram 4. We took a taxi and it cost us 20Euro. The tram drops you right off in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean, but small. The stair case was steep. Not ideal...

We spent a full week at the Hotel Prinsenhof and not once did we regret our choice. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent, filling and free, the rooms were clean, and the location was great. We had a small room facing the back of the property which was fine with us, especially since it afforded us a little...

Stayed here for about a week beginning March 22 and absolutely loved it. We rented a room for two without a bathroom, although the room included a sink and mirror for us to wash up in. We got a room with a lovely window overlooking the canal outside. The room was small, but immaculate and the hotel is perfectly situated...

We stayed at the Hotel Prinsenhof for three days, and it was quite marvellous. A traditional canal-side dwelling in the heart of Amsterdam, Prinsenhof is within walking distance of most places, and well-connected by tram if you don't fancy the walk. The stairs, as with many canal-side dwellings, are steep and numerous, but there is a luggage lift for all...
