I stayed here for a couple of nights with a friend. The location is good, in a quiet area overlooking Prinsengracht canal. I did not use any public transport during my stay because everything is within walking distance. But there is a tram stop 25 metres from the quest house. The room was basic, but that is what I expected....

This little hotel is perfect for an overnight or weekend stay or if you are on a budget. The rooms tend to be small, but they are clean and the beds are comfortable. One star hotels do not have phone in the room, TV, hair dryers, etc. They are meant to be clean and (hopefully) safe accomodations for the budget...

Very nice, of course it was small but the bed was super comfy! Very close to the public transportation stop. There was (one of the many) a beautiful canal right outside the hotel and there were many quick, inexpensive and tasty dining options nearby.

The Hotel has a very informative website, but neglected to mention the heavy cigarette smoke permeating the lobby and our room. Otherwise a decent budget hotel. However, I cannot say we would stay there again as there was no ventilation in the office, lobby and breakfast room so the lingering cigarette smoke really bothered us. We stayed in room #9...

Just back from 3 nights' stay in this wonderful hotel which is exactly as described on its website. Clean, attractive and comfortable accommodation. Reasonably priced. Good breakfast in charming room. Friendly staff. Well located on a canal and near a tram stop. We had the attic room with ensuite which was large, well furnished and equipped.Beds extremely comfortable and lovely...

I stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend and were both very impressed with this hotel. We had a huge en-suite room at the front of the hotel with two large windows overlooking the canal - great in any hotel but especially good for only €89 a night! The hotel is located in a lovely part of Amsterdam. Most...

I stayed at Hotel Prinsenhof for two nights in July. I made reservations directly with the property (I have this thing about contacting properties directly, out of fear of them losing my reservation) and everything was GREAT! At first, I made the mistake of taking the wrong tram to the wrong Prinsengraht stop - several trams have this stop name...

The Hotel Prinsenhof is conveniently located on Prisengracht near the corner of Utrectstaat - with loads of good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of character. However, watch out for the shower in the ensuite room - it has a mind of it's own - runnng hot and cold!!! Still,...

Stayed here with a friend within the last couple of weeks and there are some really great things about this hotel and some that weren't much fun. Here are my thoughts, for what they're worth... *They aren't kidding about the stairs. They are *really* steep. Luckily there's a friendly guy who'll help you haul your bags up them, most likely....

I can't recommend this place highly enough (especially for the price!). It's right on the tram line, it overlooks a canal, the service was fantastic. We were on our honeymoon and a room on the top floor - it was a very charming attic room with a slanted ceiling. The room had a lot of character and the bed was...
