Booked on line at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised with the room. Spacious, overlooking the canal. Super clean, great breakfast. We were able to leave our luggage there after checkout to accommodate a later flight out. FYI: steep stairs!

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Prinsenhof in April. We stayed in a large family room overlooking the canal. It was sparsely decorated but clean and spacious with a lovely wet room. We were given a very warm welcome and on the last day the staff stored our bags in a storage room for us. We paid extra for breakfast...

This is a lovely hotel in a traditional building alongside the Prinsengracht canal which means it has an ideal location. There is a tram stop a few steps away and all you would want to see within walking distance. We had a very warm welcome and the staff were just lovely. The stairs are steep because of the traditional design...

Even on first view look scary, with lot of staircase, double doors, hotel is very well finished, and cozy. Location on tram line, walking distance to center, and lot of restaurants in neighborhood. All place is non-smoking zone, but you have nice bar on the corner with smoking zone.

This place is just perfect. Very clean, great friendly staff, great view, brilliant location. I loved everything about it. I cannot thank the staff enough. The only reason this has one star is its a traditional house with steep steps and no lift but it gets a 5 stars from me ......Thankyou for a wonderful stay...see you next year 😘

I stayed here at the beginning of November for three nights with my sister. It was an absolutely perfect location, right on the canal, quiet but walkable to all the main attractions. We walked to central Syston with bags on the way back, and it took us about 20 minutes. The b and b was great. Lovely spacious twin room,...

It was our pleasure to stay in the Van Gogh suite on Prinsenboot, a canal boat in Amsterdam. It is large, clean and an absolute delight. I took one star off, however, as there is a common stairway between 2 suites and we had several nights where we were awakened by the other party very late at night noisily coming...

My son and I stayed here this summer and it was the first stop on our European tour of 5 1/2 weeks! The owners were very helpful, giving us directions to their place, which tram to take and when we arrived they lifted my backpack all the way up to our floor by a large hook! We had an ensuite...
