Ok I search for all of Amsterdam for a normal price... this was the cheapest I got and the only one with availability. I read the reviews and thought it should be ok. I arrived at 23:30, the hostel was already locked because they close at 23:00 (when I checked my emails 3 days later I saw that they sent...

We had really nice time in this hotel that was unique for us for its stunning architecture:) All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are good enough for few days stay. Price vs quality was more or less ok. Hotel is situated in very nice location. And price friendly restaurans less than 2min walk from our room We...

The place is not the best in Amsterdam, but it's really close to almost everything plus it's a really calm and peaceful area! People from the hotel are really friendly , they will arrange everything and try as much as they can to help you. It's not a real ' hotel ' , it looks more like an hostel to...

Stayed in a double room and as it was a heatwave they let us borrow a fan which was nice , room was perfect size and not too inconvenient for bathroom and shower on same floor, we were luckily on first floor as the stairs are very steep. Breakfast was filling and staff incredibly helpful. Great area to explore!!

Not a great place. Not too impressed by the cleanliness. It's not a horrible place but if you put in time researching places you will probably find something much better for the money. Breakfast was very basic, good but don't let that swing if you stay there!

My fiancé and I stayed in the bicycle hotel for a weekend and were very happy with it. We arrived Friday (way before check in time) and were greeted by very friendly owner who gave is maps and things to do in Amsterdam (and we could leave our bags in the hotel while going exploring). Super location 2min walk from...

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The hotel was easy to find- convenient bus ride or a 25 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean- I had a room with a bathroom. It was a pain to walk up the stairs with luggage since the stairs were very narrow. But this is typical of most of...

Very nice place to stay and close to the city center. Close to tram station. You can rent bicycles from the hotel and make your own tour at the city. Also, the breaksfast is nice. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and beautiful room.

We stayed 4 night at bicycle hotel in March, and overall it was a pretty good stay. We had a decently sized double room, that was clean, with good bedding. A lift would have been fantastic as the stairs were quite steep, but I understand that logistically in a building like this it would have been difficult to have one...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in February 2015. We are a young couple in a double room with toilet. I would only recommend this hotel to young people who want to stay not too far from the centre and has budget restriction. There are two trams near by: 16 & 24, going to Dam Square and Amsterdam Centraal...

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
