Euphemia is actually a monastery converted to a hotel. Stay here was ok. Very basic, but clean and neat rooms. I stayed in a 4 in 1 dorm with a private bathroom. Beds were comfy and bathroom was tiny but clean. Breakfast is provided against payment of 5-8 Euros. It's better to skip breakfast at the hotel, since it's over...

i did a trip with eight friends to amsterdam. The hostel was cheap but very very nice. The room was a 10 bed room and really clean. The staff were also pretty friendly and helpful. We have got different recommendations for amsterdam as well. Nice hotel to recommend.

Very good location 10 minutes walk to Dam Square. The hostel itself is a little small and not much room in the bedroom, their is not much of a chill out room to meet people. Its reasonably priced for Amsterdam and the staff are kind and helpful.

Positives: location, cleanliness, price and the professionalism and friendliness of Receptionist (Macarena). Points to improve: Rooms must be renovated and updated. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Me and 2 friends of mine stayed there for 3 nights. The lady in the reception desk was really nice. But rooms were cold. Significantly cold. And after going outside all day long and coming back to hostel at late hour we found radiators turned off. We had breakfast there and it was nice. Location is just across to Heineken...

Quality of rooms and staff are satisfactory, rooms are clean and good. But in toilets and bathrooms there aren't central heating, so it was very very cold (I was there in January, so it was very cold).. What is more, after resevations and a down payment it turned out, that the fees are much higher (hidden costs, taxes). More over,...

I had made a reservation here for 9 people for a weekend only to find out a few days beforehand they had cancelled my booking without letting me know. When i contacted the hostel the Staff were so rude and aggressive. They made absolute no effort to accommodate me and told me our rooms had been booked out. I was...

I stayed 4 nights in this budget hotel and I found it very cosy. Staff and receptionists are very friendly and always available to help you. Prices are good (a bit less for breakfast), but if you want to eat your own meal the hall is always free to stay. Beds are comfortable and there's no noise during the night....

+The best thing about this hostel is it's location. It's close to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, the Heineken factory, and Leidseplein. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Dam Square, but Amsterdam is a very walkable city and at over 2 euro per tram ride, it's worth taking the walk. I only took the tram once while there. The...

“This hotel is in the budget range so the rooms are basic but very functional and comfortable. As a single 60 yo woman I had a double room with ensuite which suited me perfectly. Good electronic security lock on the room and front doors.”

“The guys on reception are fantastic and gave me very good suggestions where to go after we had done the Gogh, Anne Frank House etc. We had a room at the back. Number 22, a triple, on the second floor - no lift. A room to sleep and shower in. Very good wifi in the room, very fast connection and no buffering.”
