Just got back from a three night stay on here. My daughter booked Amstel Botel and she picked a winner. We stayed on deck four and enjoyed every minute. Rooms were bright and clean. Yes, they are basic but what's wrong with that? Bedding and towels were changed daily. There's a bar and dining area on deck two. Burgers and...

Well what can I say about this Boat/Hotel its quite basic, no frills but quite homely at the same time. No one bothers you everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Nothing seems too much trouble. The breakfast on board is 10 euros and very good value for money. Get there early as there's not much left later, its served between...

Myself and five others stayed here for two nights during my Dads 50th birthday weekend celebrations. The hotel reception are polite and very helpful when required. Our room was cleaned every day. The room itself was slightly small (for two fairly large blokes anyway) but more than ok for just a short stay. Breakfast is from 8am until 10:30am and...

My husband and I stayed here two nights as part of a Topdeck tour in Jan 2015. The accommodation is basic and inexpensive - and you get what you paid for. The room we had was tiny - barely enough room for our suitcases, and the bed was hard. The bathroom was the smallest I have come across in the...

Good value for money, lovely rooms, friendly-ish staff, great breakfast. Stayed here for 4 nights at end of November - my second time in Amsterdam. Went with my boyfriend and our couple friend. Location was slightly out of the way, but brilliant transport, 24/7! I did find two of the receptionists to be very rude, but then again I didn't...

My & my friend booked this place as a deal with easyJet. We paid £109 for two nights with flights! We were glad to find out that the ferry crossings were free, to and from the botel from Amsterdam Central. The staff were really helpful and happy when dealing with us. The boat itself is rather big! Our room was...

it's not as nice as you may think, it has never had any updating on the rooms since it was built in the early 90s. I have stayed here 3 times now and have noticed how run down it is becoming. The beds are rather hard and lumpy along with battered old pillows, did not sleep well at all during...
