Poorly located. Staff has an arrogant and bad attitude. Rooms are tiny, dated. Bathroom is a really tight fit. There's a small cafe on board with practically nothing on the menu. Completely avoidable. We were very disappointed as this was our worst stay in the three weeks we spent across nine cities in Europe.

Having read some reviews that the walls were thin and noisy. The bathroom being too small etc we were unsure of what we were going to find. What we found was a lovely hotel to have as a base whilst in Amsterdam. Close enough to the action yet far enough away that you also have that bit of peace. Easy...

Just got back from a lovely 2 night stay. Hotel is lovely and clean and good value as always! Breakfast is always good and well needed in the morning. Lovely staff at breakfast and the gent who ticks off our room for breakie is so polite. Only downfall is the rude ladies on reception who need maybe a course on...

I stayed at the Amstel Botel for 3 nights. The rooms are basic, and the decor is outdated. However, it is great value for money. We had everything we needed, it was perfectly clean, and so easy to get to. Also, the wifi was fast and reliable. The ferry comes in near the boat and goes to Amsterdam Central every...

My experience of Botel was with a gaggle of girls on a mission to achieve a non-cheesy hen do. And we achieved. The main lounging space where breakfast's served is light, airy and has that distinct Scandi style. Which brings me nicely on to the first meal of the day; a continental feast with fresh croissants, ham, cheese, tomato and...

Great location near public transport, clean rooms and facilities. The bed and bathrooms are a little small but if you are after a short stay in Amsterdam this is a good place to go. It was a bit of fun to say we stayed on a boat.

Just had a four night stay in the Botel, the rooms are ok and the beds are comfortable, the staff all speak very good English and are very polite and helpful. We had breakfast just over the road on a boat called Pollux ,this was due to the Botel Bar and restaurant being refitted ,the breakfast was excellent and once again...
