This hotel is absolutely beautiful in every way. The unique decor of each room was incredibly well done and made for a special experience. Our favorite part of our stay was the wonderful breakfast delivered to our room each morning - it was exceptional! The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious with a sitting area. The hotel location is fantastic - in the middle of everything and could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff were all amazing - kind, helpful, offering good suggestions.

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we did not want to leave. The hotel is beautiful and feels like you are staying in a museum but has all the modern touches you could want. It is in a great location. The daily breakfast delivered to the room is awesome. The spa at the end of a long day of exploring is amazing. Everything I mentioned above is great but what puts this hotel over the top is the people. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The workers truly seem like they care about you and that you have an enjoyable stay. They make great recommendations for where to eat and what to see. They answer all questions and take care of any request you could have. Just go ahead and book here and stop looking around.

We chose the Christiaan Haugens room on the top floor front, overlooking the canal, and the 72 stairs were worth it! Beautifully designed with intentional homage to each of the featured noblemen. Hotel location is excellent, and the staff is helpful and energetic. The tasty breakfasts are delivered to your room. Bottled water and also a coffee machine are cleverly located in drawers that pop up from under the bed. If you need to check out early in the morning, be sure you have made arrangements to have transportation there and help with luggage. Things don’t typically get going before 8:30 am.

This hotel is absolutely incredible and every little detail is so intentional. Behind every little detail there is a “why”, and a written story behind it for guests to understand. The service is also some of the best we’ve ever had - from the warm welcome, to the in room breakfast that blew our minds, and the cappuccino and cookies on the way out the door. The hosts also helped with making dinner reservations and ensuring we knew where we were going afterwards. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Worth every penny!

This hotel is amazing. Great location and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and delivered right to your room. We arrived early in the morning and they tried their best to get our room ready early which we really appreciated after a long flight. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel! Fabulous service. Intriguing rooms. Breakfast to die for! Perfect little bolt hole for a weekend away, the private spa was an unexpected extra too! We’d love to return to see other rooms- ours was awesome! Even if we had to share it with a skeleton!

This is one of the absolute best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Brothers Trip room. Service When we arrived, the service was amazing. We were immediately offered water and a seat while our bags were taken to our room. They asked about our plans, made recommendations and got us some dinner reservations. Every day we had a delicious made to order breakfast and afternoon stroopwaffels. Amenities There was a great soaking tub in the room that was sooo nice after long days of walking around Amsterdam. We weren't there to utilize the bikes or spa, but definitely would like to if we had stayed longer. The decor is amazing. Bath products were heavenly. Location The location is ideal. You are centrally situated between the 9 Streets, the City Center, and the museum zone. We easily walked and took the tram all over. It is right around the corner from Boat Local Amsterdam if you are looking for a nearby cruise. I normally do not leave reviews, but this hotel was just so amazing. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Niels, Adam, and team!!!!

Everything in this hotel is thoughtfully curated. From the kind personal service, to each one of the rooms being a uniquely designed creation around a fascinating mind of history, all make this a truly unique hotel. The hotel helped to arrange a surprise to the room with ease and care. The in house bike rental was easy. Each morning a delicious breakfast is delivered to the room. HIGHLY recommended for those who value a more custom, boutique experience, while being in an ideal canal location, with an owner and hotel team who care.
