We reserve our room at the last minute but we had a good surprise. The location is great, close to the museum district close to Vondelpark, not far at all from the center and the neighborhood is very calm. The room was not big but not too small either and it was clean. The service was welcoming. Overall it was...

We lived on the 4th floor of the building. Although we got little suitcases, but bring it up was a nightmare. So if u traveling with slightly large suicases, do not choose here. Apart from the stairs, the room was disappointting. we paid 110+ euro per nite, but the room is smallest room i have ever stay. There even have...

Of course the quentin england isnt all bells and whistles, it is a basic city centre hotel. The rooms are a decent size with everything you could need, after all on a city break you barely use your room at all. The rooms were clean and tidy and had its own shower room - no bathroom sharing. The staff were...

The hubby & I were fully prepared for what we received with our budget accommodation choice. Basic service and a small, basic room for people more interested in the culture, food and smoke that Amsterdam has to offer. Location: The location is the best aspect of the hotel - on a quiet street by the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and Leidesplein, which...

Let me begin by pointing out that I do travel cheaply and am well familiar with cheap hostels all over the world and generally know what to expect and accept that, this place however is an extreme. As lovely as the hotel is from the outside and the location next to Vondelpark and tramlines exemplary words can barely describe the...

I don't know why people are moaning about the cleanliness of this place. For a European budget hotel, it was positively sparkling. Particularly the bathroom. The location is great, it's on a very attractive but quiet street right between Leidselplein and Vondelpark. I couldn't find a better rate anywhere else, so I'm pretty satisfied. They also tolerate smoking in the...

Whilst I understand the anger of some people on this review page, the Quentin England hotel gives exactly what you should expect for your money - which is basic but enough. For couples on a romantic trip, I would suggest but definitly for a few days with friends or relatives. Yes the stairs are steep but this is Dam baby,...

There are quite a few hotels near by in similar buildings, i am quite sure it is not gong to be very different when it comes to very steep narrow stairs and thin walls. We had luggage and had to climb up to the third floor. Backbreaking, gravity defying experience. So i would not recommend this place or anything similar to...

We arrived at what we thought was the hotel we booked- Quentin Hotel. The staff there were so rude and told us we were not staying her and had been moved to the Quentin England Hotel, wothout any justification or help with transfers. We arrived at the Quentin England Hotel. The receptionist was so smary and arrogant and thought the...
