This Ibis is in an ideal location. Clost to the Station, Tourist Office, Trams, Buses and Canal boat trips. Gorgeous view from our window overlooking the heart of the city. Excellent sound proofing, so no noise. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice. Staff were excellent and friendly.

If on a short break of a few days in Amsterdam, this is ideal. Well located, next to Central station (sound insulation is excellent) as well as bus and tram interchange, right in the city centre..... but also great for excursions out of town such as Haarlem or Utrecht. No luggage transfer issues here! the staff are great and the...

This is an average hotel, room sizes are too small, only has advantage of Central train station, but its worth to look at alternative option. Good luck for the people staying here. Only the Lobby was good

Really expensive, a standard Ibis with 4 stars price. Regular breakfast. The only advantage the location, but it is not the only one in that area nor the cheapest. And you would better book to have a room! Nice bar with nice service.

Dear AndyTorre, Thank you for choosing Ibis Amsterdam Centre. Concerning the rates, Amsterdam is a beautiful, but pricy city. Advance bookings can help you get a lower rate. Please check accorhotels.com for the best available rates. It is my hope that we can serve you better in the future. Best regards, Pascalle Bijvoet Commercial Manager

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
