Hotel location excellent, but that is what you pay for. The room was disappointing ,very small bathroom ,no toiletries, We overlooked the Main Street ,great views, looking on the web sites it looks like there is a Restaraunt and bar but this is only for breakfast, Breakfast was a nice surprise with hot and cold food. All the staff were very...

Given that Amsterdam hotels (in traditional old buildings) are, invariably small rooms (understandable) and, expensive (not so understandable), The Delta is a typical Amsterdam style - small rather pokey rooms and, for some reason - rather poorly maintained. Due to the traditional building design, the rooms are small but, there is no excuse for old fittings or, engrained dirt /...

Perfect location, and that's it. When we checked in at the frond desk, the receptionist told us do not eat at the room... but we realy didn't think that chocolate from the airport, close in the bag, will be a problem. I woke up at the first night from strange noise, but the window was close and my friends sleep......

We stayed here for King's Day last week. The prices were obviously inflated due to this holiday but even still it was not worth the money. The room was small, dingy and unclean. The carpets were matted in dirt and whatever else! It is in a great location but that is the only good point. My biggest issue was the...

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Room cleaned every day. Clean towels every day. Bit noisy beside train station. Just somewhere to put your head down. It's ideal location. We all enjoyed are stay. They also allowed us a late checkout free..

myself and brother stayed here, April 2017. First thing we noticed, was the rooms look nothing like the pics on the website, walls were grubby, beds were basic, I had to ask if we could be moved as the rooms 'looked nothing like the web pics'. The wi fi doesn't work either, the 3 euro charge is for being the...

I came home from my stay to be covered head to toe in bed bug bites. The doctors have put me on antibiotics and give me steroid cream as they have gotten infected. I'm absolutely disgusted in the poor hygiene this hotel quite obviously has! I will NOT be staying here again and I do not recommended anyone else to....

Arrived and was checked in quickly by friendly receptionist. Room was horrible and smelt a bit like pigeons. Most likely due to the fact there was pigeons everywhere. No hot water for the first night and still none in the morning so spoke to reception and was told they will find us another room for 2pm. Finally got a warm...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
