We have just returned from a family break to Amaterdam. The Nova was great, ans surpassed our expectations. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, both were really nice and spacious. The beds are so comfortable! The staff were efficient and courteous, breakfast was just right. Many thanks for a great stay, hope to stay here again.

The location is excellent and the room was quite comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was adequate--decent continental but not the Kempinski or Le Meridien, of course. Free Wifi was great. I'd for sure stay there again.

I first stayed at the Nova Hotel maybe 10 years ago and have stayed a few times since. normally, I check it, but almost always it's booked. Recently, my wife and I were able to stay for a night as we passed through Amsterdam on business. Not much has changed over the years, the hotel is still clean, is central,...

We booked this hotel through Easy Rooms after searching their website. The hotel had mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, but once again I am amazed at what people find to complain about. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Railway Station, is about 5 minutes to Dam Square and all the sights and sounds of Amsterdam. We were...

Just had 3 nights there with wife and daughter in a triple room. The room was quite unique in that it had a mezannine level, accessed by a spiral staircase which housed the third bed. This top bit did not have any heating and was colder than the main room. The room also faced the main road and was noisy...

I've been in Amsterdam 4 times, and always stayed here. Right in the center of the city, quiet and cheap place to throw your bags and go partying. And when you're tired, there's no better place to rest. Also easy getting there from airport, first by train, then few stops on tram (don't remember it's number exactly).

I met an old Army buddy in Amsterdam for a long awaited reunion. He had already booked a room here, but it was full by the time I got there. His room was in the original building, up a spiral staircase that could be challenging if one partakes in too much local flavor. His room (for two) was quite large...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
