The location is perfect at the edge of the touristic areas. You can walk to anything you want to see within 20 minutes. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They are also very clean. The fitness centre is very nice, clean, and filled with everything you need. the staff are very good with people who are knowledgeable. The breakfast...

It had a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby (although it's probably just because wifi is only free in the lobby, not in the rooms which brings people down) and the room was nice. The staff were friendly at check in and check out and they helped us get tickets to certain places. Momo there is a good place to eat...

Thanks for taking time to write, so nice to hear you enjoyed your stay and experience throughout the hotel. Our lobby, The Living Room, is always that cosy and crowed, so that was definitely not a coincidence ;) We hope you come back again soon. Warm Regards, Bram van der Hoek General Manager

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your constructive feedback. Glad to read that you loved our Jewelry Bar, the location and the hotel in general. Regarding the breakfast, I’m sorry we didn’t meet up to your expectations. I have brought your comments to the attention of our breakfast team, but I do hope that this...

Just had 4 nights with large family group and took 5 double rooms over last weekend. The hotel location was great right next to Vondelpark which hold live music events throughout the summer months. The rooms had amazing air conditioning that work incredibly efficiently and didn't switch off when you took you're room key out of the master light switch....

Stayed here for a 2 night 40th birthday treat, as was stated on the booking. Had read from other reviewers that free upgrades can be available so enquired as it was my birthday! The answer was a firm no, but if i paid an extar 25 euros per night instead of the usual 45 euros they would upgrade me, and...

We stayed here for 3 nights and although not quite in the centre of all the activity the hotel is well placed for the park and high end shopping district and is only 5 mins from the Van Gogh museum. The service was very good and consistent, checking out was very slow but that was the only blip. We arrived...

Very good location. I loved the decoration of the lobby. The hotel offers a breakfast of quality and also very nice and kind staff especially the consierge, front desk and bell boy. The restaurant Momo is a cocktail bar every night, good to have a drink at the hotel. In my opinion, the matresses are comfortable but too soft.

The hotel was well situated for bars and restaurants, the rooms were very compact, and I wasn't keen on the idea of having 2 cubicles in your room for the shower and toilet, however some people may find that quirky! There is a very chic restaurant attached to the hotel, and lough we didn't eat there we did have a...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
