Good Service, good food, clean and nice rooms(excelent bed), and this one, I think has the best location, close to the center, to the nightlife and to the museums. It is not a cheap hotel. Wifi was free(I think now it's free in every Marriot)

First time staying at the Marriott, at first I thought the location of the hotel is not too convenient as it is not near the Central Station or Dam Square like other major hotels but apparently the area surrounding the hotel (Leidseplein) is a very nice and interesting neighborhood with plenty restaurants/bars and it is walkable to Dam Square (20...

The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The interior design is rather impersonal and boring, not ugly or worn, but not something you notice or remember, typical chain hotel. My first gripe started during check-in when I was told that wifi was not free, in my view wifi is on the same necessity level as electricity and...

Although not in the heart of the city or charming, the hotel's rooms being much larger than those in the city is a major competitive advantage. Close enough to walk to the city center quickly. Staff not only speaks English fluently, but understands customer service better than many European hotels--far friendlier and more flexible.

This is a fairly typical Marriott hotel - friendly, functional, clean, not a lot of bells and whistles. The location is outstanding for those intent of visiting the key sites in Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are a very short distance away. One can also walk all the way to old town, crossing one canal after the other,...

This hotel is located in The middle of everything! Takes about 20-25 mins by bus to get there. We took bus 197 from The airport and paid 5 euros per person! Taxi cost 20 euros per person but takes like 12-15 mins. We had a lovely room overlooking The City. Some of the staffs were not very pleasant or friendly...

I do like the location of this hotel. Walking in eveing will give you great impressions of fairy-like Amsterdam. As for rooms and sevices - its good, but not perfect. My room was a kind of corner room ( I was too tired to ask change it) - so I have to watch my curtains because I could see some...

Very central. Short distance from airport (shuttle (I think 16 euros), taxi (about fourty euros) or bus (cheaper than the previous two) depending on how much you want to pay). Room was tidy and had all you needed for a weekend. Cute little gift shop but you can get most of the souvenirs in other stores around Amsterdam anyway. Canal...

I traveled to Amsterdam for a work trip. I arrived at my hotel after a red eye flight from New York. The reception allowed us to check in early with no question. We were able to take a shower before going to the office. During the stay, the concierge assisted me numerous times for directions to the Rijksmuseum on my...

Very easy bus ride from the airport delivers you to the front door of this hotel. It is very well located by the park, shops and main tourist area. The hotel is well equipped with a gym, health spa, restaurant and bar. The rooms are of a good size and the staff are friendly. Basically it lacks wow factor but...
