The rooms are clean and tidy which is the most important factor in any hotel and it is close to several services and shops. The staff are very friendly as well. The disadvantage that the wifi is not included in the room rate, which is annoying to any visitor who does not have a data chip.

Had a great stay at the Amsterdam Marriott last night. Rooms are newly renovated and comfortable. Has nice extras like a reasonably priced mini bar, and a US plug next the bed for your iPhone. Desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Room service and restaurant were delicious. Location is nice too if you want to have a short walk around...

What a dissappointing 4 nights stay at the Marriott Amsterdam from the 1st-4th March. My family and I have had the experience of staying at Marriott hotels and chains all over the world and our home country Australia. My dad actually works at the Marriott and has been employed for 25 years in the engineering department, and my sister was...

This hotel is a bit what you would expect from a typical Marriott. The rooms were larger than we have had in other countries and they are renovating more suites. I wish they would have told us that but we weren't bothered being we toured each day. It's close the the canal tours and not a far walk to the...

Newly renovated rooms which lost its warmth and cosy feel. Its in a good location and most hotel staff are friendly and helpful. However, from dawn till night, the staff likes to use the emergency exit at the end of the corridor and slam its door all the time which is really noisy and irritating. Point to note, do not...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. My family and I were in our separate rooms(side by side) when staff started BANGING on our doors. When we opened our doors they demanded to come in to check minibar consumption. No asking for permission to enter; they just barged in like they have every right in the world to do so. We find this behavior extremely rude and...

Visited for a two day conference held in the hotel. The conference facilities were excellent. Great food and really good public areas for meeting and exhibitors. Our room was pretty small. No space for a desk and a very uninspiring view towards an apartment block. Decor is very bland and I felt that the whole hotel lacked local character. Good...

Newly renovated Marriott, conveniently located to major attractions and bus/tram lines. We stayed here for two nights with our college-aged children. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and helpful. The family room was spacious and comfortable. The concierge lounge was extremely inviting - great evening snacks. Breakfast was served in the restaurant - way too many choices. I wish all...

Hotel is in a very good location. Excellent breakfast but very expensive. WiFi very unusually costs 10ish euros a day. Almost everywhere it is now free even if just in the lobby of the hotel. Hotel being refurbished but we were not affected by it. The TV in the room was not working and they were slow to respond and...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience regarding your recent stay. It is wonderful to read that you found the location suitable. On the other hand, I regret to learn that apparently you were not informed about the free Wi-Fi option in the lobby. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you encountered with...
