We returned to Amsterdam for just one night en route to Keukenhoff and decided it made sense to stay at a place where we already knew our way around... we love the neighborhood surrounding this hotel, and the convenience in getting to/from the station and the museums... as well as shopping and dining. It's our go to place in Amsterdam-...

This is a great hotel in a perfect location. There is a tram stop just steps away from the front door but you can easily walk to all of the tourist spots (Rijksmuseum, Heineken Experience, Vondelpark, VanGogh Museum, etc.). We got to the hotel around 10 am and planned to just drop our luggage but we're greeted with a smile...

We stayed at Dikker en Thijs for eleven nights in April, visiting our daughter, who is studying at the University this semester. The location is perfect, very close to tram lines running everywhere. Just to the north are the Nine Streets. Great view of the canal. We had a corner room with lovely huge windows, so lots of light pouring...

Very comfortable hotel, everything you need and very friendly, helpful staff. Good walk from central station but you can get the no.5 tram. Like any city centre hotel you will hear a bit of evening noise and the trams but not too bad. Plenty of choice at breakfast and a reasonable lunch / evening menu if you wanted to eat...

There is a tram stop on the corner of the hotel, but we did not take the tram as we were able to walk to most...

I know I say it often.... but I mean it this time. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! It is absolutely fantastic!! We were late checking in, about 8pm but the hotel was super easy to find after getting a tram from central station. We had a warm welcome from the lady girl on reception and took time to point...
