The location is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the bustle of the Amsterdam centrum, has many shops around the canals within walking distance. very near to the Anne frank house. We went there as a couple and planned a surprise birthday party for my girl friend in our room. i emailed the staff about some special arrangements and if...

We visited for three nights in Jan 2017. The hotel is in a great location. The staff are excellent, very attentive and always make time for you. We had a garden facing deluxe room with jacuzzi bath, just what's needed after a long day walking. This was a special occasion and we were treated to Moët, strawberries and chocolate on...

We have just got back from our stay at the Toren, and just wanted to share what an amazing stay we had. The hotel confirmed my booking straight after I had booked through booking.com which immediately made me feel like they were on the ball, and when we got there we discovered complimentary Moët, chocolates and strawberries in our room,...

This hotel is right in the middle of the Jordaan in Amsterdam - which is the only area you should even think of staying in. It's near the hip shops on the "nine streets" and walking distance to the museums. The hotel has gone for a kind of fin-de-siecle French boudoir look - maybe a bit over the top. But...

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location on a lovely canal, walkeable from the station. We hired bikes and enjoyed exploring Amsterdam. Bedrooms luxurious, service and staff excellent. Helped book tickets and make recommendations. Breakfast good value. Highly recommended.

I found The Toren online at the last minute, and so was a little worried about what kind of inn would still have rooms during the holidays. The website looked nice, and the reviews were kind, but still ... I worried. Well, I had nothing to worry about. This place has the look and feel of the very best B&Bs...

What a gem of a hotel! My wife and I loved the atmosphere, location and staff. Our room was a throwback to another time with high ceilings, chandelier, gilded, carved ceilings and accent lights throughout the room. A tight spiral staircase leads downstairs to a large and very modern bath. The bed is comfortable, king sized and I want to...
