Incredibly convenient hotel, just a few minutes walk from the station, where you can catch the Hop-On Hop-Off bus, a tram, or the Metro - as well as trains to the airport, of course - and visit the Tourist Information building. Just behind the station you can also catch the regular free ferry across to North Amsterdam. Our room was...

Booked a room in the exchange as it's located perfectly in the center of town with trams to all locations. The rooms are uniquely designed and some are quite small but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is perfectly appointed. Despite being centrally located (6min slow walk from Central Station and 5min walk from Dam Square, 4min walk...

Honestly, I didn't like the decoration in my room, but then again, I've been to many hotel where I didn't appreciate the decor. But I loved living here! The uniqueness for the place, the friendly staff, the central location and getting lost in the weird layout of the place. Highly recommended!

We used The Exchange for a week long trip to Amsterdam found it exactly as promised. It was a three star hotel at a fair price. The decorating, as described, was a bit eclectic but our room worked fine. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The rate their rooms from one to five stars and we...

A five minute walk from the Central Train Station, this little gem of a hotel was in the perfect location for exploring Amsterdam. Very friendly, helpful staff, very clean, cute decor (we got the 'purse' room!), there was no noise through the windows although we were right on the street. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Wow! My fiancee and myself self stayed here about 3 weeks ago for a short, 3 night stay in Amsterdam. What a great hotel. I was a little nervous at first because I read on here that some of the rooms are hit or miss and that it is really based on the star room that you got. We got...

I booked with Expedia as I find bundling air + hotel always a good deal. This is how I found this hotel. My husband and I stayed a week, and had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Our room was small and had no frills, but it was "more" than adequate. Our room was very clean, the bed was large...

Stayed 3 nights in a room which for some reason had a gigantic bird cage made of bamboo. This made it extremely difficult to get into the bed and also restricted movement in an already small room. Can not believe the decoration.
