We stayed here for two nights over the recent Amsterdam Marathon weekend. We stayed in a spacious executive room which was extremely comfortable with a wonderful bed and we appreciated the attention to detail. Everything worked well and the whirlpool bath was a great bonus. The staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was good...

Very nice Executive room with and extremely comfortable bed and good pillows. Room a good size with a separate work area. Bathroom small but well equipped and useable, with a good in-bath shower. good value at €194. Staff well trained, pleasant and helpful. Loved having a Nespresso machine in the room, which got well used. Beakfast was very good with...

Had a great stay there. Friendly staff rooms were superb, they put a cot in for my grandaughter in her mums room. Lovely touch of turning your night light on and leaving 2 apples every evening when you return to your room. Close to tram system, high street of shops but not many restauarnts to choose from. Hotel bar food...

I have just returned from a weekend break to Amsterdam with a friend, I found the hotel to be everything it said it was. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy, WIFI worked well wherever we were in the hotel, breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The hotel...

This is a second rate hotel at first-rate hotel prices. Strengths are staff who are always willing to help, and a location in a very pleasant part of the city where you are away from the swirling masses of tourists and instead can watch how Amsterdamers live and go about their daily lives. There is a Starbucks just 5 minutes...

This hotel is often tagged as a 5 star hotel - and the prices of the restaurant €22 for breakfast and hefty prices for starters and entrees would seem to support this. Overall though it is probably stretching it to say it is 4 star. It looks the business, all staff uniformed etc, but the underlying infrastructure etc lets it...

We have stayed at this Hotel before and rebooked based on old memories. Sadly it did not like up to its old reputation. We made a last minute reservation for 4 nights and were disappointed with the size and dull view from our room. Far too expensive. They used to offer a really special breakfast now for 20 odd euros...

Booked a room three weeks in advance, arrived on the day of my reservation, checked-in and went to my room, only to discover that my "deluxe double or twin room - one large double" (I quote from my reservation), was in fact the sitting room of a suite, with a large table, where a collapsible sofa-bed had been placed. Went...

I'm not sure i can think of one positive thing to say about this hotel, except for the politeness of the staff. It is not 4* let alone 5. It resembles an old-peoples home (and the elevator smells as such). The rooms are ok, but of 3* standard. There is a 17€ charge for internet access, but the icing on...

The hotel is ideally located in the nicer part of Amsterdam, near the Van Gogh and Stedelijk Museum. The entrance is ok and looks nice and modern. The staff is friendly as well. For a five star hotel I miss a lot of extra's: no pool, no fitness (available across the street for eur 17,50, far toonhigh a price), a...
